I could see Walcott going to Chelsea or Perhaps Tottenham (on a really bumper contract) if they make the top 4 this season (with CL qualification this time)

When Banitez joined Liverpool, according Pool fans and press, it was dream of every Spanish player to play for Liverpool. It was then extended to every Spanish speaking player, and to every la liga player with dome remote connection to Spanish teammates. Heck even the life long Atheltico Madrid fan Torres was in fact boyhood fan of Liverpool. The torch is passed to Suarez and its dream of every south American and Spanish and even Portuguese speaking player to play with Suarez and Liverpool.
Sahin is keen on Liverpool because Xabi Alonzo's influence if we are to believe the Pool fans.

To be fair there was a time (to some extent it still continue) when Arsenal were connected to every French or French league players.

Wallcot will stary with Arsenal. He gets lot of stick, because he makes too many dumb decisions.
By same token he also provides assists and goals. PLaying the postion that Wallcot plays given the choice of between a tidy player who makes no mistakes and plays it safe with little end result and a pacey players who frsutrates and is sloppy, but still manages to provide over 15 goals and assists. I'd take the erratic but more productive player. Tidy neat players? Plenty of them in mid table team.
There is a reason that hose wonderful smart Footballers (e.g., Seb. Larsson) playing for Sunderland, WBA are playing for mid-table teams and are not targted by bigger teams.

Its amazing how opinionated fans can be! The "dumb English Footballers" regularly y manage to reach Quarterfinals or somewhere about there, in big tournaments. They are selected by well respected managers, sought by big teams, yet they are "rubbish" "over rated". Those wonderfull intelgent, techincialy gifted players from East Europe, and the displine and intllegent Swede and Danes, now them are the true Footballers. Even though getting out of group stages is thei biggest achevement, and no big time managers or teams are lining up for them.

Alex Song is really going to Barcelona? What are they trying to fill their quota for Africans given to them by UNICEF?

They play a lot of games, they've lost Keita. They were always going to need someone to fill the role.

Wow, Ji Sung Park becomes captain of QPR. He's obviously one of the more experienced players there, but do you guys think he has what it takes (leadership, communication skills etc.) to be a captain, judging by his time at United? I've always thought of him as a quiet bloke who doesn't do much talking and keeps to himself.

On the pitch, no he doesn't. I'm sure he gets a fair bit of respect behind the scenes though.

So, what game are you guys primarily watching. I'm torn between Arsenal and Liverpool. Interested in both projects...
