    No.

Henderson started 44 games for Liverpool. You call that bit part?
Adam started 40 games. You call that bit part?

If those two weren't key parts of Liverpool's midfield who was?

    You're being ridiculous.

False. We don't know this. We know that he's decided to take a class player who will make us better who is actually available to us. Not sure how many mids are out there that are available to us at a reasonable fee that we know will make us a better team.

We don't know what? That Fergie has decided to add in the front third? Or that fans are clamoring desperately for a midfield signing?

    I don't get it.

Ter Stegen saves from Messi. Not best penalty though.

You are assuming that he made a decision to go after van Persie and not go after someone in the midfield. You don't know that.

I apologise if thats what it looked like. I only meant that he decided to add in the front third, not that he decided to not add anywhere else.

I can't help but feel that we are in agreement Johno.

Carrick really wasn't to blame on that goal.

Maybe not completely. From my view, he basically lost out 1 v 1 to De Rossi on a set piece. Its a match up that favors the Italian, but Carrick's appears to just have been dominated by the more aggressive physical player.

Carrick lost out the moment the other Italian player blocked him and gave De Rossi a yard on Carrick.

Who was marking the other Italian?
