did Hope move LLoyd or did the coach?

lol, Buehler. She's great at missing her mark in important games.

In all honesty I was even more upset with Tancredi's full speed shoulder tackle of O'Hara in the second overtime. She could've easily separated her shoulder with that tackle. I'd never seen anything like that in the women's game where someone goes full speed and just takes the other person out like a runaway truck!

The game video clearly showed Buehler guarding Sinclair on the first set piece after the US made it 3-3. Solo yelled over and Lloyd and Buehler switched marking assignments for the rest of the match. Apparently Solo had seen enough pristine headers for one match.

I'm hoping for a comprehensive U.S. victory? Really. Funny, I thought I said I hoped it was 90 minutes of great action.

Oh I pot-kettle-black'd you alright. Sorry you don't like it.

    Put the violin away.

Things like this is why I think Engen will end up a starter at the World Cup. Her aerial defending is superior to every other defender and is a key asset against big teams like Canada, Germany, and Sweden.

For someone who claims to be a master at logic, you didn't seem to understand my post very well. I am hoping for a comprehensive U.S. victory, as I said back in the initial post. Not you.

That's all I've got to say on this. Time to move on. Done feeding the troll.

Eh, just a difference of opinion... Just like there are some pitchers that will never retaliate by throwing a pitch at someones head, there are others that think everything is fair game. To me though, I just can't comprehend how one thinks blows to the head are no less dangerous than stepping on an opponents hand?!?

    How about line-up predictions? WWTSD?
    Solo
    Kriegs-Brunn-Engen-Dunn
    Press-Johnston-Holiday-Rapinoe
    Leroux-Wambach

I doubt he goes with this back line but I'd like to see it. And if TS doesn't start Johnston who fills in at D-Mid with Lloyd out. (Am I missing something obvious?) I would love to see Johnston with significant minutes in this match.

Sure they are. I just didn't see any reason to hate an entire country, and I don't believe she even took enough of an injury to leave the game. A lot of crazy stuff happened in that game. It was fantastic, it was pure madness, it was great for women's soccer, and it was a while ago.

If that tweet about Lloyd being suspended is correct (I thought that only happened in tournaments?), I'd expect Johnston to get the start. She's the obvious logical choice there. The other option would be one of the defenders or one of the Mewises. But I really hope it's Johnston.

So you did not see Tobin Heath's nasty foul on Lori Chalupny when the Red Stars played Portland in Portland last NWSL season?

Sauerbrunn. The nickname Broon came from the WC profile vid with her, Krieger, and LePeilbet.

Can barely see it though. Is it natural grass?

Yes, although the grass doesn't look to be in that great of shape. Just look at all the brown.

From tweets about the open practice, I gather that Solo was limping and that Barnhart is sick. O'Hara won't play tomorrow, but maybe the Russia game.

Someone on the first page of this thread mentioned the FCS National Championship Game was there and that the field was in horrible condition before that game since Frisco has had some bad weather since they put down a new field after the conclusion of the FC Dallas season.

Well... I had hoped the field would've improved in the 3 1/2 weeks since then. But I guess the weather's been too cold, and they probably don't have undersoil heating and uv lamps to help it grow since they normally play in the summer.
