Lol. You know I like my lists... I'm a visual learner, I've got to see it all out so that I can analyze where people stand and where our strengths and weaknesses are.

So who is actually calling these players up.............................??

Is Martin Vasquez running this camp?

They should just ask Eleven Bravo to be in charge of the player callups.

Upcoming US U21 camp will consist only of American and Mexican based players with Coach Vasquez.

Will Euro team recognize this as a team because they wont be playing in an official tournaments as u-21. While they would as u-23. Wouldn't it be better to call it the u-23 team.

Koroma couldn't get out of the YNT player pool even if he tried.

Players don't have to be released unless it's on FIFA dates, some players from MLS won't be released for this camp either.

We actually haven't heard officially what the USSF will call this team, whether it be U-21 or just remain U-23.

Some of them don't require scouting. You and I know about Dennis Flores after all............................ :)

Last we heard we had one full time scout in Mexico, and Martin Vasquez was also attending games down there to scout players.

It'll be interesting to see if they uncover any prospects we DON'T know about.

Honestly, between this board and the Football Manager database, I'd be surprised if more than like, 3 unknown players showed up.

I'm the same way, but folks like @Balerion and I make hypothetical threads like what would the 2011 U20 team look like now. ;)

So at the risk of getting this thread back on, ya know ;), topic, how does last week's demotion of Marty Vasquez impact the U23/21's?

Does his demotion let him keep this job and, if not, what are the rumors for a replacement? Further, when are we expected to hear about a roster?

And, if the coach is not Vasquez, will this camp still be heavily Mexico-centric?

Just from speculation, it seems like he will be the u21-u23 coach. I guess it wouldn't be bad to do that since he has dealt with the full team and can maybe allow for a smooth transition between youth and full NT. However, I am not a fan of him as a tactician, and that is kind of a big part of being a coach.

I heard from I think Brian Sciaretta's twitter that the roster and coach is set to be announced soon, maybe a couple days from now?
