US vs Turkey Memorial Day Weekend Details

More or less there are two options. AO at McFadden's is one. The second seems to be that the groups coming in by bus from DC, NYC, etc. will be tailgating in Lot M. Me thinks they are starting 10ish.

Our group of 5 is going for option 2 - Lot M around 9:30ish before heading over to McFad's later, just like we did for the DC match.

Anyone else have similar plans?

Are the drinks specials/no cover for AO members only or for everyone?

Heads up to anyone planning on being there for the Friday night party at McFaddens, Outlaw Voices will be recording fans singing and chanting for the CD. We will have a side room set up for the formal recording but will also be wandering and recording the ad, lib freeform chanting going on. Come out and sing with us - we would like to have a chorus of about 20-30. 7 pm - ?

does anyone know what time the lots will open for tailgating on saturday?

If I'm able to get a ticket (PM'd someone on the boards about it today) then I'll be rolling solo so I think going to McFaddens would be best for me.

I have a group of about 30 that wants to tailgate before the game. From other forums, it seems like Lot M is where we should go. I'm from Georgia, so I'm not familiar with Lincoln.

- How early do we need to get there to get a spot?
- Can we bring the small, portable gas grills/Webers?
- Do we need red solo cups for alcohol?
- Any other rules or stuff we should be aware of?

9 am will gaurantee you the best spot
use propane not charcoal!
use the red cups! (cops prefer the cups)
other rules! - No fires and have fun! Drink lots of beer!

Are busses allowed in lot M?

Yes - in the rear of M (i believe)

Just found out some friends from work are gonna be at the game and I'm trying to figure out parking. What lots are close to McFaddens? I'm trying to park close enough to the bar where I don't have to walk too far to get to it.

Awesome match. The AO was great. My nephews loved the chant when the opposing keeper sends off a goal kick! I was going to come over and say hi to all my SOB friends but as I was the only person at the match wareing a SOB member shirt and the kids wanted to kick the ball around I watched from up where the NY busses were. Looked like a great party.
