After calling about 20 different sports bars around town, I finally found a restaurant that will be showing the game. It is: Contigo Peru 6829-A Peachtree Industrial Blvd Doraville, GA 30360 770-849-0029 I don't know what the place is like -- size, setup, etc, but at this point, I really don't care. I'm just happy to be able to watch the game. So ... I'll be there ... join me to cheer on the US and, no doubt, we'll get some strange, but supportive looks.
We had a small group and, yes, did get some strange looks while cheering on the boys. Nevertheless, the restaurant was larger than I expected, the food good, the hosts hospitable, and ... well, we got to watch the US win. The plan is to regroup on Thursday at 6:00 to watch the semi-final vs Honduras. Plan to come join us!
