so wait... no more Fox Soccer Channel for Serie A??? At least Rai Int'l has the games but their reception is so bad! Why no more FSC??? I loved Serie A in HD! uFFA!!! this is a nightmare!

Also, does Time Warner Cable carry BeIN???

Correct, no more Serie A on FSC. beIN Sports outbid Fox for the rights.

beIN Sport is currently on DirecTV (in HD) and Dish Network. They're making an announcement this week about more carriage agreements. Word is that AT&T U-Verse is locked up and TWC and Comcast could follow shortly.

GolTV's carriage agreement with a lot of providers ends this month. beIN Sport might be trying to take their spot.

That article is from last week. Some today suggest that a deal has been made. Who knows what will actually happen.

As I posted on the Roma thread, I emailed Simona Cantoni , Francesca Caligaro, Lino Bitto and Alessio Maldini (last years tv personalities on rai internaitonal) to find out if they know anything and am still waiting a response. Hopefully one of them will answer me.....

I did see that the Domenica Sportiva will still be on......not sure if that is good or bad though as all they do is bicker back and forth and talk or debate and rarely show any highlights.

If it came from ANSA, then it is reliable. Knowing how bad RAI is with updating their TV guide, I recommend to tune in at the given hours. There will be no noon match (Italian time) on Sunday as it is August and hot. I think it may be several weeks before the early match comes on. There should be 3:00 games, which come on at 9:00 eastern time. Right now, the RAI guide has Milan-Sampdoria at noon (delay?) and Pescara-Inter at 2:45. We'll see if they update their site by the end of the week.

BeIN updated their programming guide. Looks like the two matches on Saturday will be live. No live games for Sunday as Serie A will be bumped by Ligue1 and La Liga (PSG, Barca & RM plus one more Liga match). Milan-Samp at 7:00 followed by Palermo-Napoli.

its possible beIN and RAI will be rotating on the games they show. Cuz only 1 channel can show it live. beIN is showing saturday games, and perhaps RAI showing sunday games??

can anyone confirm sunday schedule for RAI?

    I don't believe that's true
    RAI has Italian language rights
    beIN has English language rights.

They could show the same. At least I believe they can.

With Fox, sometimes it was the same match at 9:00 and others it was not. Obviously, the Sunday night match will be the same (2:30 eastern). The Saturday broadcast would depend upon which of the big EPL teams were playing. Right now, Serie A is second fiddle for the Sunday telecast on BeIN. PSG (maybe same owner or relatives), Barcelona and Real Madrid are their big draws. At least for this Sunday, that is the case. As long as RAI has games, I am covered between them and BeIN and since I do not have HD and could care less for Phil & Ray, I hope RAI shows as many games as they did in the past.

Just took a look at the Serie A schedule. Now things make a little more sense. In fact, I think remember reading how the first match day would feature late matches to avoid the summer heat. The Sunday schedule has Milan-Samp at 6:00 Italian time. Everyone else plays at 8:45. So there are no 3:00 games, which usually is the time that La Giostra dei Gol is shown (9:00 am eastern time). The same goes for Match Day 2. It is the following match day (16 September) that Serie A goes to normal mode (the weekend before is international week). Maybe La Giostra will be featured in the afternoon match with Pescara-Inter. Still nothing showing on their guide concerning Saturday's two games.

beIN Sport broadcasts in HD, whether the provider airs it in HD is up to them. DirecTV has it in HD, Dish airs it in SD (standard definition). The Spanish version of beIN is currently in SD.

Just out of curiosity, does anybody read the thread, or do they just post links that they find? I've seen the same links 7 or 8 times already.
