Both Baines and Warnock are better than Bridge anyway. Word is Milner might get a look as a utility man on the squad as he could fill in back there at a pinch.

Probably should start a separate World Cup thread for this and other nations as preparations continue.

There was poll on Foxsoccer.com the other day with those guys as the options. Bridge was winning the poll. I voted for Milner.

Now the poll has changed to: "Did Bridge do the right thing by quitting England?"

I can't say I love or hate it just yet, but looks like something you'd see in grainy stock footage from the 30s and 40s...

Here's to hoping that it grows on me.

I also pre-ordered mine today.... Donovan 10. Love the design. New kits always take some getting used to. I agree with the red jersey also, but that one was never actually seen, unlike the away blue an home white one. We can keep our fingers crossed though.

I don't like sashes in general. sorry if you like this one. i just think it is a horrible antiquated design. translated means poo poo. This is one scheme I would like to see go away. All of nike's jerseys this year are retro, which is not what I want to see. I want the present and future. seeing them all together looks similarly to the original MLS ones. [IMG]

Nike went hipster with their WC designs.
The kit looks good together, socks seems a bit weird but the line matches the sash on the tops.
I am not crazy about the tops, but its a solid simple style that looks good in our colors. Just have to decide whose to get.

When bad things happen, Jonathan Bornstein is THERE!

He is a soccer genius compared to what Germany's keeper did...

all he did was come out of his box and not get to the ball

Bornstein gave a penalty when the attacker was going to be closed down- he then got incredibly lucky when he handled a ball in the box that my 80 year old grand mother saw although she wasn't even watching the game - the second and decisive goal then deflected off of him and past Howard.

Before that happens, we'll all hear a very loud *POP*... that will be Bob Bradley removing his head from his ass...

Maybe if we all pitched in $10, we could rent the crane, front-end loader, giant-size tow truck or tank recovery vehicle it would take to make that happen. It's stuck pretty far up in there, so we'll need a vehicle with a lot of torque.

I thought the Bradley hate was fairly unwarrented, but 4 years was enough, we're not going to move forward. We're going to stagnant the same way we did under Arena.

It's also disappointing how people continue to cry nepotism when it comes to Michael Bradley when he's one of our top 3-4 players.

I've never hated Bradley but I've never loved him either. As you said, 4 years was enough. It is time for some new blood. At this point, I think Gulati and some of the other leaders need to go and break up this good ole boys club they have going. We need a new mindset to take us to the next level.
