Still that's assuming someone checks that. I highly doubt all regular MS STH hit those up.

All I'm saying is that there are plenty of ways for people to find out if you search.

Entitled whiny babies if anyone is pissy about not getting tickets. Sometimes you have to work at getting something you want. That includes the most tedious task of looking at the most obvious of places on the internet. If you are a USMNT supporter, and you have been around to other games, then you know the game of getting tickets. If you are a noob and wasn't aware of what is going on, then maybe the supporters section isn't where you should be anyway. Make way for the people who give a shit to make it a priority and not an afterthought.

Fvck em. This is a USA game not a sporting one. If they couldn't figure it out by now then too bad.

As a STH, I should be able to try for non-row 1 seats in M2 or M3 for $48 + $5.25 in TM fees when the STH sale begins on 7/16.

Basically, ******** you all too then is how this works, eh? ********ing entitled asshats. Enjoy acting like special big men. Report me, flag me, whatever. Too many uppity mother********ers around here reminding me of why I took a hiatus. I don't live on here. I don't live on FB. Therefore I wouldn't have known about tickets. Way to share the love. Enjoy being Seattle. You all make me not want to care about the team. Honestly, it's happening anyway. Oh, and ******** Sporting Blue Valley while I'm at it.

I still stand by my statements. If you want something you are going to have to work for it. Piss on the people who didn't figure it out until too late. It sucks for them, but you know what, there were many people who did care enough to go out and get it. If that makes me an entitled asshat then so be it. I took the time to keep up to date, there for I am entitled to the benefit of the information. There isn't some secret code or or exclusive invitation only club. Nothing was hidden. Know how I found out, an e-mail from AO because I joined so I can get up to date info about tickets and pre-sales. Didn't take much time out of my day to do so either.

The point is that this isnt controlled by the team. US Soccer is renting the stadium from Sporting Club for the event so he tickets are ran by them. This is a WCQ and as soon as the event was announced, I would have been on top of tracking how tickets were to be dispersed if I sat in the MC. Anytime a game of this magnitude is being played at an 18,500 stadium, the supporters section tickets are going to go at the snap of a finger once they are put up for sell.

Dont let a select few fans on a message board impact the way you feel about a team.

there's still over 200 tix left on the cauldron sale. you're not out in the cold yet. don't let oj being a dick deprive you of the game you love.

honestly, i feel like skc dropped the ball a bit here. they touted their achievement of getting the wc qualifier, but have failed to follow up to inform their fans about the critical details (like when tix go on sale for various groups). there's a large base of fans of skc that would have interest in this game that aren't "members" of AO or the cauldron. i'm not disagreeing with AO and the cauldron having presales. but if skc knows that those presales are going to take up the entire allotment (or the vast majority) of a highly desirable section of the stadium, i think skc should be expected to notify that base of fans what's happening and how to get involved. it's not asking for the world. one simple email to every "member" that states what goes on sale when would suffice.

I hear you BUT playing devils advocate which you know I do not do that often as I like to poke the bear when its being... grizzly, but the perk of being a member of AO or the Sams Army or any of the various groups is much the same as being a member of the Pearl Jam Fan Club. You get advance notice, you get advance ticket sales, and it is that group that does the work to promote its ticket sales for a particular event to its members. When the unwashed masses decide they want a ticket a few weeks/months later when they finally get around to it they often get left out ... that what happens when folk choose to be uninformed.

I think you are right that they could have communicated this better to the fans, that as fans you have almost no real perks as an STH at a USSF ticketed, CONCACAF run, FIFA tournament qualifier, but really if you know anything about the game that is kind of a no brainer ... I assumed at least.

Also anybody with a web browser can buy tickets from KCCauldron.com or AmericanOutlaws.com for that fact, they sell tickets to non-members as well. Bottom line is if you are a nats fan you should be looking to US Soccer for news on ticketing, and not whoever happens to have a lease on a stadium. If you are a member of the members section and you are not keeping track of the Cauldron through ANY of its numerous outlets now you know what you should ... twitter, facebook, kccauldron.com - take your pick. It is not like it has been hidden.

When I get my season ticket I am always asking and wondering what those special game tickets are ... when games get announced not asking how you get a ticket if it isn't clear shouldn't be a massive logical leap for any of us. So yeah the team might have sent out an email that said "Hey buy a ticket if you want to go" but at the same time I see people all over the place clamoring for USOC Final tickets which are also not included asking "how can I get one" ... again folk have reps, other fans, ticketmaster, customer service numbers ...

I feel bad for anybody disappointed but SKC folk are selling SKC tickets to SKC games and they are not going to hunt you down to buy tickets to an event they are not selling. I seems to me that you actually have to almost opt out entirely to not know what is going on in this case and display an absolute and distinct lack of initiative. It is a bad combo.

Use your account number as the promo code. I think you go to Ticketmaster or ussoccer.com and use the promo code before selecting seat location.

i don't think we're really disagreeing on much at all here. again, i'm not asking for the club to "hunt you down to buy tickets to an event they are not selling." i was just saying that skc should've sent out an email, much like the one they finally sent out this morning, maybe a week earlier.

As someone who devotes a lot of time to AO and AOKC specifically I was disappointed in the lack of support from the team. I knew their lack of support and communication would lead to a ton of pissed off STH's. There are people "in the know" that still don't even have a clue AO exists. That being said, USSF plays under a whole different set of rules, you have to understand this. To make matters worse (or better?) this is the first time a stadiums supporters group, ie the Cauldron, has bought the remaining tickets.

I think, by the language you chose, you were throwing gas on the fire rather than educating someone on how to better achieve what they want in the future.

I'm not mad about the situation since I did get my ticket, albeit in section 116 rather than my usual spot in the Members Stand. But I am disappointed. I've attended World Cup qualifiers and U.S. men's national team games for a number of years. My first was United States v. Costa Rica in 1989 at St. Louis Soccer Park. When I attended the United States v. Costa Rica at Arrowhead in 2001 and United States v. Guadeloupe in the 2011 Gold Cup at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park I was given first crack at tickets (or my tickets were included) by nature of my being a season ticket holder. I had no reason to believe that would be any different this time around. I'm not a member of American Outlaws. Up this point I've never needed to be in order to support the U.S. men. I've been supporting the U.S. men for longer than that organization has existed. Furthermore, I have a philosophical disagreement with that particular appellation which is also why I could never get behind the short-lived "Hillcrest Syndicate."

Better communication, be it from Sporting Club or USSF, to the season ticket holders would have alleviated my disappointment. But the important thing is I got my ticket and I'll be there to support the U.S. men.

Anything better than Ticketmaster out there now for people who are asking for the inside line on WCQ tickets? I know the pre-sales are all done, I know the cauldron tix are gone (got mine!) but just checking in case there were still some insider deals somewhere...

Have you actually received your cauldron tickets? I bought two and am wondering when they will be mailed.
