Can't wait for this to begin. I am cautiously optimistic about our chances.. :)

Netherlands v Brazil will be played before our game - who would you prefer as the winner?

idk. First we have to win. But I feel really good about playing Brazil, but I just hate them so much.

Im going to go for the Netherlands

And you have your wishes granted.

Now do us all a favour for yourselves and go and beat Ghana. You have the players to do it without a doubt.

Best wishes and all the luck to the Celeste. It's been too long. :)

The US create several chances to score, but they dont have a good scorer like we have. I just ask to attack on their central backs and do our chances.

Wow what a great game! Suarez definetly saved Uruguay with his handball. It would have gone in but instead got that pk that they missed. Very intense. Congratulations! :D I'm sad that Suarez won't be there for the remainder of the tournament due to his red though.

    WOW!
Way to go guys. Survived by the laces of your boots, but still, you've survived.
Will be tough without Suarez but I'm hoping the final sees the return of Uruguay.
    Enjoy the moment. :)

    Well done amigos.

You should have had a penalty in the first half of extra time when Abreu was pulled down by Pantsil.

Justice was served as that FK leading to the penalty incident was a joke. Keep the flag flying and well done indeed. :)

Hats off to the save. it was a bs freekick that led up to it anyway, not that it matters. You're allowed to do anything for your country and take the deserved punishment, it literally mean that much. Except those that bitch and whine like little girls of course.

dude, kudos to suarez, he deffinitly did the smart thing, i remember first seeing that happen in an EPL game over a decade ago, but they usually score the PK, incredible to see it actually payoff, particularly in such a huge game. the joy on suarez's face to see that his semi-gamble paid off was deffinitly a memorable picture, he's got to be the happiest man in the world, sure he misses the semi final, sure he'll probably have to settle for playing in the 3rd place game but his gamble has given his country an achievement they havn't reached in 40 years! i'm so psyched from this game! it's like 2 hours later and i still can't believe it! great to see it work like that

You guys have no idea how ecstatic I am right now. And so is the whole country. There's hundreds of thousands of people still on the streets celebrating.
I might be going to Uruguay this weekend for a couple of weeks if I can find a really cheap flight. Anyone know of any sites with deals?

By cheap, I mean less than $600.
