I'm praying for 6, if we get that along with the money for Park and Chamakh, that will cover RVP's raise.

I think Arsenal can get more than 6 M from Anzhi, after all they are flush with money.

Bendtner won't go there - he thinks he's better than Eto'o.

Since Anzhi are trying to buy every star in Europe, why would they be sniffing around Bendtner? It's a rumor and not a very logical one at that.

Because - unlike every bona fide 'Star' - Bendtner might actually accept their offer. This would literally be the best case scenario. I can't see anyone offering as much money as that club.

He has been talking about how there are soooo many good players in Russia. The guy needs the money and loves the fast life. I think it is a perfect fit for him.

5-6 should not be a problem for him, i think he rates that much. the bigger sticking point is/had been his salary, i believe. but, if they're that cash rich, they may just shrug it off.

maybe if he can just finish the season strong and show well at the euro, we can get more and have more buyers.

Neither is he that good of a player. He's better than Chamakh (worst striker ever to play in our club) and Park, but not better than the level of a Sunderland player.

you know that saying, that every trade has got a dummy, and if you don't know who it is then it's you?

that's how I feel about this podolski move. with everyone hyped about him, something's fishy... where are the detractors?

let's recall the last player arsene bought before a big int'l tournament

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0-hyWPeGJA"]Tomas Rosicky Goal for Czech Republic v USA world cup 2006 - YouTube[/ame]

how many times has THAT happened since 2006?

so much wrong with this post.

First, how can Chamakh be the worst striker to ever play for Arsenal (and by that, I assume you mean the Wenger era). We had bums like Aliadere, Baptista, and legends like Francis Jeffers and the old heads talk about Kaba Diawara).

Secondly, if Chamakh is the worst ever, then what is Park the guy who cant even sit on the bench ahead of Chamakh?

Lastly, Bendtner is not better than the level of a Sunderland player? You do realize he has started every match he has been healthy and eligible for, right? Is their some super level of Sunderland player that somehow has not suited up for Sunderland? lol.

I don't know prince he's not quick over any distance, he doesn't even have PV4's trick of opening his stride and eating up the ground. He only has one finish the curler from the left side. He thinks he has god's vision and henry's ability, when in truth I haven't seen much to conculde he has more game time skill than theo. ffs all he had to do is toe poke the ball against barca. If there is one thong I cant stand in a striker is one who can't beat a cb who has to turn around. If he was making ridiculous link up passes and putting away 12-15 goals a season I would say hes worth keeping....

15, 12 and 9. Not bad given his playing time even though his returns got worse as he got older, but it doesn't really matter. He isn't coming back to Arsenal.

that is hate blinding your vision. He has more on the ball skill than Theo.

Outside of that, I agree with your post. So much so that I don't know why you responded to me because I didn't say Bendtner should ever return to Arsenal. He should only ever be our 3rd option at striker, yet he wants to start more games.

I only responded to the post saying he isn't "Sunderland quality."
