Nice W. This and next week's trip will help silence the strength of schedule arguments late in the season and help in the RPI. Good moves all around by a very solid program.

PAC12 highlights of Lobos and UCLA from Friday night http://video.pac-12.com/video/dud3JwNTrA_71oVcXKEfMDssfnpyYc01
Apologies for the non-Lobo content, but after seeing Earl Edwards' goalkeeping on the second goal, I really wonder if he's going to keep the Bruins' starting job. Also, it's surprising to me that the UCLA broadcasters wanted a handball on that late play in the box. That's ball to hand, a good no call there.
2-1 Overtime loss for the Lobos at Tulsa last night. Mattie Gibbons with the goal. Game report indicates Travis Campbell's red card in the 29th was for intentional handball in the box. Quick turn around to play SMU in the early game Sunday
Lobos bounce back nicely with 3-1 win against SMU with goals from Mora-Delgado, Smith and Sandoval. it will be interesting to see what the pollsters do with Lobos 1-1 weekend though it doesn't matter in the long haul since they own their own destiny At home Friday at 7PM (to UAB) for the first time this year. Tailgate starts at 5:30
Couple notes: - Senior Victor Rodriguez got the start and his 22nd victory in goal after serving his 2 game suspension from the melee at South Florida last year - James Rogers' 3 game suspension is served and will be eligible for selection Friday - Blake Smith will miss Friday for his 2 yellow ejection today
What - if anything - are the consequences of the entire team being awarded a red card at the end of the match? Does it mean anything? Anyone care to interpret?
do not know. think nothing immediate. like to know the story though. they said it got very chippy at the end. SMU keeper got yellow post game same as Blake
Didn't we go through this last year with this team being negative and overly physical in a couple of games?
sandon. have a closer look. 4-1 yellows smu/unm during play. Fouls were 9/9. I don't know what happened after the game
Apologies for continuing the non-Lobo content. Edwards didn't play this weekend v. Maryland or UVA and the broadcasters Friday kept talking about him being out due to injury from the New Mexico game. In hindsight, seems pretty likely that the injury was a significant factor in his tentativeness/indeciciveness on the goal you mention. On the Lobos front, I'm very impressed with Smith (even more so than with Sandoval, though he's looked good too). From the little I've seen, that kid has a lot of quality to his game.
