Just listened to Capital Soccer Show. Marquez may not go. That means Roy Miller may play again. Paging Nick DeLeon. This also lessens the loss of Najar if it happens.
I also think the weather has to favor DCU. Boskovic should get serious minutes one way or another due to his free kick skill. In a bad weather game that's a great way to score.

The weather forecast did get worse. Time to get out the orange balls. :)
www.weather.com has Winter Storm Athena advisory. Watch the video. Shows snow starting around noon, changing to rain, then back to heavy snow with wind gusts tonight in Northern and Central Jersey. WE RULE THE SNOW!

Am I the only one who thinks its lame that the Weather Channel has taken it upon itself to start naming some winter storms?

Gamesmanship. Rafa will play, I think. Also, Homeland Security let Conde back into the USA.

I hate to say it but I think NJ wasn't really wasn't in the game much during the first leg, Henry and Marquez don't seem to care, and they only managed a draw because of errors by DC and some hustle by the parts of the team that did care.

I don't think cold rainy weather is going to motivate those same guys to want to play another week into winter.

I agree with regard to the confusion and overall messiness of the game that it's a good way to score, but on the other hand we've seen strong wind damper Bosko's ability with those kicks more than once this season. Should be interesting to see how it goes either way.

I fully expect this game to be cancelled and played in it's entirety tomorrow if DC United takes the lead.

    I am so not kidding.

Actually, "Winter Storm" would make a great stage name for a stripper or porn star.

I think Ben could surprise us in the second round game. Expect a Pajoy and Salihi partnership up front. This is our last chance and I reckon he'll see the way we've been riding our luck in the last few games by playing defensively and soon that luck may run out. I reckon we'll attack right from the off, NY look vulnerable.
