no i don't see the big picture. i'm not sure how anyone is being "badass or hardcore" by stating a preference for a long-held and much debated tradition?

and anyway i don't want to distract from the march info with my bitchin :) that's the real thing here...

i'm not sure what the problem is with that. some of you guys got to know their fans and whatnot, that surely influenced their desire to "help" in the march and now we're tailgating with them. its what happened as far as i know. the rolleyes simply means i don't agree with it.

i liked the old policy, you must have known someone would bitch when you decided to do it.

anyway as i said i know you are trying to keep this thread on point and i don't want to ******** that up with my bitchin

It was Oscar's call and I'm with him 100%. If you're going to ask for someones help we feel it's only the decent thing to do. We want maximum exposure and fans from Canada sporting TFC colors and bringing Canadian flags is a real eyeopener in our opinion. It's a one time deal that we intend to honor.

I agree with Chico & Oscar that if they're going to help us during the march, it's appropriate to invite them to the tailgate. Also, having Toronto fans here shows the city that fans do come to DC for the games, which = added revenue.

    qft

Now for some details. I assume that because we can anticipate a large tail gate, particularly since our flyer invited marchers to it afterward, that even with a few missing Barra members it gonna be damned big.

Therefore Hells Kitchen is going to be a very busy place. Will there be a separate thread to handle details like that, or is this the place for it?

OK. For those of us working the kitchen, do we have time to make the march, or should we be busy setting up for the arrival of the masses?

I know this is too far in front of the match to expect the normal 'organizing' crew to wade in....:D...but at some point we need to get the tail gate details decided and the volunteers engaged.

    And, yeah, I'll be there.

    Let's discuss shuttle logistics.

    From Oscar's post
    &
    How many shuttles are available?
    Capacity of shuttles?
    Number of trips for each?
Estimated people in Lot 8 to take shuttles?

Where will the shuttles be picking up people in Lot 8?
    Do the parking guys know?

I'm sure that many of these details have already been worked out; but figured it be best if questions were asked to support this effort - if any gaps exist.

We're estimating to be back in Lot 8 between 4:45 and 5:00. At this point I would leave that decison solely up to you guys in the kitchen. You guys know what your needs are in setting up and getting the grilles going.
