This fcking rules. I know a lot of people want to see teams they love come overseas, but I think this is gonna be 10x more exciting for me because I can't stand Schalke with every atom of my body. Also, glad they didn't screw us on ticket prices, and I can actually afford this one!

Four days after the Bundesliga season ends? How many first teamers will make the trip? I like the asterisk on the press release. The Union doesn't want to repeat the Tim Howard debacle from last season.

It said in the e-mail that if you buy your tickets for this match as a season ticket holder, they'll put this game on your card. I wonder if people will get loyalty points for this match, or not. I can't go, but I don't want to get screwed out of loyalty points because I can't go to a meaningless friendly that wasn't included in our ticket package either.

I have a feeling my seats will be going to someone else for this one, but I'll have to weigh it out over the next few days.

I think you will see both teams academy and bench players and maybe let a starter or two go...besides we have enough mid fielders and forwards that never see the damn field anyway...Give em a shot under the bright lights.

Most of the players getting play time will either be reserve players or trialists so it shouldn't be that big of an issue.

On the website, it says it starts at 2pm. I don't think that vital piece of info was in the email.

Correct. The email says the tickets are available now* through the 16th for STH pre-sale.

*I received the email at the stroke of noon.

$10 "service fee" to purchase the tickets. What is the service? Them scheduling the batch application of purchased tickets to "load" them onto my cards? Unreal. Makes me stop and re-consider going at all.

i think that service fee may be a mistake. since they had to finagle the sale into "season ticket renewal" i think they may have just forgotten to change the delivery method. i cant see that they would charge more for loading tix onto my card then they would for mailing hardcopy all star game tickets

if I remember right, the fee is because they don't actually load the tickets onto the cards themselves. I believe they have a private contract with another company who does the tickets, both paper and season ticket card

What did I complain about? I asked a question. Show me my complaint, and I'll yield. I wanted to know if the loyalty points are included.

Sorry. I should know better than to post here, lest you get jumped all over.

The Union's email said 7:00pm kick-off, but both the website article and the schedule say 7:30. How hard is this to get right? Answer? Not hard.
