Not a Lalas fan at all, however I really enjoyed that preview.

 

Per Twellman, the Union's bid for Michael Bradley was $3m-$4m a year...not sure if we'd heard that number before.

 

So was a pretty significant bid. I wonder if they got him if that would've precluded Noguiera and Maidana.

I assume they are saving his signing a day or two so they can have content for another press release (plus he may have wanted the dust to settle on Kassel's exit before perhaps taking his #8 jersey).

 

Thats a good guess since the Union's site has Holt listed as using #24 now.

I wouldn't bother with him. Seems his skills have been on the decline since leaving Vancouver. Plus he's a bit a hot head and makes a lot of stupid fouls.
