Talk about beating a dead horse. I can't imagine the kiddies flocking to Chester to see this total bust like they used to at RFK back in the day. Considering his embarassing time in Europe, I'm surprised he could be effective playing with his tail between his legs. My friend's dad officiated some of his youth league games here in the D.C. suburbs, and he asserts that there was no way in hell that that kid could be the age he claimed to be. Eh, I guess I'll give him some wee props since we're both Potomac boys...

A question to my friends' up I-95: did the Tammany Saints ever make a scarf, and, if so, could anyone perhaps get their hands on one for me? I know this is a Union thread, but I just thought I'd follow up my last post by adding that I don't think any of the United teen trio (Adu, Convey, and Quaranta) ever really fulfilled their initial potential/projections. Convey's probably made the most of it thus far. Actually, I assumed when Philly got the franchise that they would somehow bring Convey to the club as a hometown hero...

Dick's in Collegeville, PA finally got the 2012 kits, so they have a bunch of L and XL 2011 replicas on the clearance rack for $30 each.

Believe I saw that one at the stadium this past Sunday. They had a couple new hats on the mini-kiosks on the concourse. Didn't make it into Angelo's, don't know if there was any other new swag.

 

I already have that hat in t-shirt form.

Probably a long shot but anyone have and trying to sell a scarf from the Union v Real Madrid game last year? I was at the game and walked around the stadium but couldn't find them. Then later heard from a couple of people that they were selling them.

 

Anyone have a line of the Union Beats by Dre headphones that are sponsored by Verizon, that are being given away to select people with some kind of Verizon weekly drawing?

I received the Villa scarf on Monday (thanks to Buddha Wake). Its nice. If only the front of it didn't fave those white stripes. I also received the Doop scarf yesterday (from this guy). Is the Doop scarf in fact the Season Ticket scarf from last season? If it is, I now understand why everyone was complaining about it.
