Union Gear & Swag Catch-All [PART 4]

If you do, give us an update on what they have...specifically USMNT gear. They said they should be getting some new stuff nearing Spring on that front.

 

I find most Union items are geared towards tweeners and fans of MMA fashion.

Edit: You can easily replace "Union" with most if not all MLS clubs.

 

12-24 is the age group most in love with MLS. They like it as much as MLB. Makes sense to me. If I'm MLS, I'm going all out to ingrain myself to that demo. It will pay dividends come 2025 or so.

 

All of the swag is kinda gimmicky. I loved my navy 'distressed' ball cap until it started rapidly fading - it looks as bad as one of my old caps from college but nowhere near as old.

Just picked up a replica signal blue secondary at models in KOP Mall for 45 bucks

 

Well, that makes at least 2 Argentinians with them since I always send my friend all kinds of Union stuff. Have to get the away one still.

 

Maybe the pope can figure out a way to put pinstripes on the back of the replicas. that would be a miracle

I don't see why not as long as your money is green (or loaded onto your STH card). The letters won't be scaled down but as long as you're okay with that I would assume that it can be done.

 

Leaving my job this week, got a bag full of Union swag from my co-workers. Track jacket, T-shirt, visor, mug. Made me sad to leave... almost.

Well it's small but it's a freebie. Organizational clusterf*** though... pick up a voucher on the way in, collect it at the end??? Guess they wanted to avoid the Phillies phenomenon of just coming for the freebie then leaving right away. Keep them captive for 2 hours so the concessions are used. And collecting it by the supporters gate, crowd management was a nightmare. [/scrooge]

Oh and my fan favorite hot dog was not as advertised since they were 'out of bacon' (didn't tell me till it arrived and I queried it). I only got it for the bacon! Grrr

 

On the other hand, imagine the bobbleheads being chucked at Amobi after he let Di Vaio right by him for the score. Imagine your young star being pelted by 5.5" doppelgangers of himself...the postgame distribution...maybe a wise idea...
