but we are talking about the next WC cycle when Yepes is gone. James will be a lot more mature, plus having WC and plenty of national team experience. its certaintly plausible James might end up with Captain duties. I dont see Abel in the next cycle.

This brings up my point though James has to prove himself to be capitain and clearly hasn't, despite being our best player best players don't always deserve the captaincy. Falcao from the getgo even as a youngster as always showed class, (participated voluntarily to help churches, kids with disabilities, and off the field the guy has always been a presence with anyone he's with.)

Mondragon, Perea will probably retire as well.

Zapata, I love the guy but i don't see him as a capitain.

    Falcao
    Abel
    Guarin idk..maybe not
    Jackson is a candidate.

of course it has to be earned. for the reasons i already mentioned, it will help James become Captain and he has to tools to be one of the leaders for the NT alongside others like Falcao, who obviously brings a lot of influence as well. im not picking James for simply being one of our top 3 players.

were talking about a young guy whos role model is Valderrama and im sure he aspires to one day hold that captains band. he still is going through growing pains. all young athletes do. but im sure by next world cup cycle hell be better prepared to have that responsibility. i also see Ospina and maybe even Zuñiga stepping up.

Well in that case, Luis Muriel, Michael Ortega, manga Escobar, Fabian Castillo, hector quiñones, Gustavo cuellar are my picks

Something funny happened; I met this guy who is from mali wearing the Colombian red kit and he's been to Barranquilla and Bogota out of pleasure. Says he's annoyed with Junior fans because they keep making him trying to buy their jersey. XDD
