That's the advice I'm trying to convey. They are not different in today's age. More and more, companies, recruiters, etc., are accessing social media as part of the prospect's record and security detail. So using the 'N' word like you did on that other thread is really not a good idea. Good luck on the new gig.
Well I am confident that they're going to judge me on how my work history is and how I act on the job; I personally don't want to work for biased people as my first choice, but I do agree that there's always a possibly. Although I doubt that they'll connect to my youtube profile given that I rarely upload anything.

I recall you posting on FIFA way before coming around here, so you never know. At entry level positions, not much of an issue but as you ascend up in ranks, than yes, you have to be careful.
I always assumed that it would be with my Linkin profile that they be looking me up. I have a good rep so far and it's getting me places. Thank god.
Unfortunately i'm very white and wear glasses so I don't feel the "shiny cue ball with spectacles" look fit me well..
Well if you're that concerned with your skin tone, just build a tan. Trust me, it works for everyone.
You are not helping yourself Hey just to be clear I'm just busting your balls. My picture wasn't a selfie either.. I just had to crop it because I was with my girlfriend and I just don't want you bunch of degenerates looking at her
Didn't they tell you? Starting this weekend Bigsoccer is no longer a footie forum but a gay booty call website...
