That passport will open doors trust me, and lets not forget how many teams Gio, & Vela went through before they began any kind of rythem whether or not they played in 1st or 2nd division. If he were in his late 20s then it would be of concern but with that passport he will get a new breath of fresh air opening up a bunch of new options. I wish him the best but we know that a pro player can make it or bust in any league even in the Liga MX.
Gio and Vela (pre-wc 2010) depended on their National Team performance for other clubs to keep an eye on them. Davila doesn't. Apples and oranges on the comparison because Gio and Vela were actually lighting it up when they were playing in 2nd division. Davila is just getting passed to another 2nd division team with less playing time.
You have a point but you have to admit that the passport will lead to other opportunities he would otherwise not have. Whether or not he capitalizes on those opportunities is different story, but he's still relatively young and im not to worried about the situation. Like I said if he were in his late 20s border 30s then it would be of concern.
Exactly what I was thinking, Gio bounced around before he got to Villareal. Vela was in a similar situation, giving up should be the last thing he should be thinking. He is still very young.
Hes not Vela nor is he Gio. Both of those guys were seen as prodigies, especially gio, who were always going to be good but just needed playing time. Davilas situation is different since his parent club has no plans for him other than just keep loaning him out until they can clear him from their books. He's still somewhat young and can still possibly make a good career in europe but he's in a grey area since no one has any plans for him. Best thing for him is to be bought permanently by a club and that way he gets some stability and can develop. Cases like Davilas are common man. Young players that show a spark get bought by a big club then just bounce around from club to club until they fall of the radar.
some updates on Ulises Davila https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/BA...p4?versionId=EusdVe3jEstUbV9B0pFw1WhNSW5aOy8X http://www.unomasuno.com.mx/?p=31887
Haha oh shit, that was an accident. I tried to copy and paste a news story on Ulises but wrong link. no that wasn't him.
this was suppose the real link http://www.eldiadecordoba.es/articl...contempla/una/salida/pesar/su/ostracismo.html
his team isn't doing good I wonder if chelsea will sell him in the summer or keep loaning him out http://www.rotativo.com.mx/deportes...ita-la-derrota-del-cordoba-0-3-ante-numancia/
I hope to 1st division team. I've seen a few games of him he's good still have hope for him in Europe but needs to be starting every game. some teams like Lazio, Betis, Basel, Espanyol, etc.
Those would be perfect teams for him, or like a team in France, I dont know why he wouldnt tryout for any of those teams, good fit
This guy has been on a rollercoaster of a ride with this team, he starts one game then he benches on another
if he cant start for a second division team in spain when hes about to turn 23 i believe its time to pack it up and head back home to mexico
^ Dat Mexican Mentality. He was playing well in the beginning of the season, i dont know what happened. Has anyone even been watching him? Was he injured? Is he getting played out of position? New Manager? There a lot of factors that could be going on that we might not know because his matches are not easy to find online and there are other players to watch. With that said, i think he should stick it out - hes got a year or so until he gets his Euro Pass and after that im sure the doors will open for opportunity.
Cordoba has had 2 manager changes and since 2014 he hasn't played a lot. en la temporada ha jugado en 20 partidos, suma 969 minutos y cuatro goles. has the quality just needs the right team to prove himself in first division football
