Here we go again with that opinionated tunnel vision fan that knows whats better for players ....and being back at chivas is the solution at that in this case? (epic lol) First, Guardado's position parallels in the sense that this was the same BS people were harping then, and now hes in a consistent champions league squad. Second of all, he is still in Europe, which is HIS objective, so staying in Europe is in fact IS the best decision according to what he has decided is the path he wants to take in life. How can you logically even deny the possible payoff of a good season in Segunda, which : 1. Potentially grants him trust of Chelsea and some first division minutes in the EPL with them. 2. Could catch him the interest of ANOTHER European team from one of the main leagues who are looking for a cheap player. 3. Keeps him on path with HIS European goals and grants confidence. But yes the best thing is for him to be back in Mexico where: 1.He would be demoralized thinking he botched his chance at Europe. 2.A good Chivas season (Those exist? holler at last season lol) grants him vergara boosting the price it costs for him to leave (IF he even lets him leave)....Marco Fabian says hi. 3. IF he maybe makes it out of Mexico again, that would be starting over again.... Its funny you want me to take off my TRI glasses, when your talking about "OUR" prospects when he doesn't even belong to chivas....so whats your interest if not TRI at this point. Again....foresight.
If he's playing in Spains segunda at 23, maybe then all this spazz would be warranted. Some of you are making it seem like this is Fabian going into a second division team. Look, Davila's never played consistent ball for any first team, why is it such a shock that he's playing in a second division side in Spain? This is a good move for him at the moment.
so what he starts playing with a 2nd division team? There is a quite a few players that started out at lower-level leagues and became world class players. Not saying Davila will turn world class but you have to put into perspective. this is a good move for him.
People seem to forget that he is lacking something that makes a huge difference.......He does not have a European passport and cant get a work permit to stay with Chelsea. This is why even though it's a Segunda squad, which Im sure he will be a solid starter, is a good place for him right now. Like other have mentioned, he might not have played a lot if he went to a first div squad. This team is a for sure guarantee of minutes and experience. Arsenal did the same thing with Vela and Chelsea is doing the same thing with Davila. He's only 21 years old, give the kid a break.
Are people seriously spazzing over Davila going to a low pressure situation, still in Europe and when he lacks the experience to go to a bigger team? For shame.
Pretty good from Ulises.... he's just gotta finish those chances. I like how he linked up with his team mate in the box in that one play. Is Anibal using just regular socks and no shin guards?
It would be nice if you provided the time in which he scores instead of having to watch that 15 minute video haha.
Best offensive player on the U-20 team that won bronze, might not be Chelsea starting material but looking forward to seeing what he can do with PT.
Post match comments from Uli, says he'll take it step by step: http://msn.mediotiempo.com/futbol/l...-da-ilusion-y-confianza-asegura-ulises-davila
