I heard the praise for Frankfurt's credentials, and then the stream froze.

Then the guy said he wanted the tension to get more tense, and the stream froze again.

    "First team:" Freeze.

Yeah they didn't listen to me  to be fair the road to the final is not too bad for Arsenal.

    Lyon/Brøndby vs Potsdam/Rossiyanka
    Arsenal/Göteborg vs Malmö/Frankfurt

Interested to see how Arsenal does against top-4/5 opposition.

Ah, thank you! So an all-German final is still possible. (Note I'm not saying it's likely. I guess I should take another look at all those LdB signings, to start with.)

Well Malmö just lost Melis. So not sure on the net benefit.

On the other hand, Melis wasn't the one scoring the goals during the latter part of the season. I think Gunnarsdottir has been more important for Malmö lately. And she's still around.

Who would have thought that we now have a Swiss quarterfinal: Bachmann vs Crnogorcevic. :p

for our fenottes, even with the second leg away, a semi against potsdam is probaly better than a final in germany.

Ah, so you see them lose against Potsdam in any case. Because if they won the semi, they could have both. :p

i meant of course a final against turbine. FFC, well that's all fine and good for some, but they're not really that fearsome, are they?

"UEFA director of competitions Giorgio Marchetti said: "UEFA is happy to be able to reach out to the ever-growing women's football fan base, especially the youngest among them. We believe the 6pm kick-off will further attract families and children to the stadium.""

How about moving it to the weekend if you want to attract a crowd, you slimy hypocrite?

It's the day of Ascension, so all of Germany has the day off, and many will have the day after off as well.

No foreigners required? That has a bit of a dodgy ring to it in Munich...

Well, seeing as it may well be that we'll have two German clubs in the final...

But even France has Ascension. As does Switzerland. Don't you live in a country that has all those funny public holidays too?

Yes, which is why I've already booked my trip :D. But let it be noted that the Ascension thing was probably a lucky coincidence this time: last year it was on a Thursday too (May 26). Australia has "National Sorry Day" on May 26, but there don't seem to have been any public holidays in Europe then .

what do you mean even france?

in any case, leaving aside the godless hottentot lands ascension is THE holiday weekend, the one no quirk of the calendar can take away (to a french worker years where may 1st and 8th fall on sat or sun is worse than anything some wimpy mayan calendar can dish out) an automatic pont, and in the nicest season of the year.

Rossiyanka are stronger than Lyon, says Bernd Schröder  (whose Potsdamers will be playing the Russians in the CL quarterfinals).

That's so obvious. :D He would call Herforder SV stronger than Lyon if it were of any use to him.
