Nice to see the ladies focusing on some of the important issues. Having 10 players that all have the same style of play who all focus on the same things is counterproductive IMO. A complete team has to be able to offer diversity at each position. Bruins are headed in the right direction if they keep this up.

    UCLA Women emphasize personal development

Darn, with your thread title, I thought you were going to report UCLA is improving that awful soccer venue. Oh well, I always can hope ....

I highly doubt that the Regents of UC will be weighing in on that anytime soon with the financial health of the state. There will be student demonstrations today at UC Riverside, where the Regents are meeting, to protest the proposed increases in tuition.

The only hope would be a motivated donor. Perhaps Mr. Beckham would volunteer!!

At least there is not a huge tree that blocks fans and throws a huge dark shadow.....

hey- that is called ambience! ha! and the stands are so short it doesn't block the view anyway . now, at UCLA, the tree would definitely be a problem from those sky box seats that seem to be in the next county that they give the visiting team spectators. But like I said- at least it's in the shade.

Stop. It's not that big a shadow. And the tree isnt that big. Nobody could hide behind it.

I would suggest they reline the field to make play equal both ways...
