I agree that it's a good article, but Fulham apparently considers Roberts their best prospect, and he is staying behind in London to continue training with their first team.

Lots of pics from the Dallas Cup teams at the Rangers game last night. Foreign kids mostly seem to have had a good time at the Rangers and Stars games.

Some notes on the US U20 team at the Dallas Cup:

    http://www.ussoccer.com/stories/2014/04/09/08/47/140409-u20mnt-dallas-cup-roster-release

    • The U-20 MNT roster is made up of players primarily born in 1995, with the exceptions being Luis Felipe, Shaquell Moore, John Requejo Jr. and Rubio Rubin, who were all born in 1996, as well as the only 1997-born player, Erik Palmer-Brown.

    • Sixteen players have ties to U.S. Soccer Delevopment academy clubs including: Kellyn Acosta (FC Dallas), Jordan Allen (Revolution Empire/Real Salt Lake AZ), Michael Amick (De Anza Force), Santiago Castano (New York Red Bulls), Marco Delgado (Chivas USA), Romain Gall (Real Salt Lake AZ), Trevor Haberkorn (Solar Chelsea SC), Benji Lopez (Real Salt Lake AZ), Matthew Miazga (New York Red Bulls), Moore (IMG Academy), Amando Moreno (New York Red Bulls), Palmer-Brown (Sporting Kansas City), Zach Pfeffer (FC DELCO), Requejo Jr. (Real So Cal), Ben Spencer (Real Salt Lake AZ/Chivas USA) and Zack Steffen (FC DELCO)

Anyone know where Moore is based now? He appears to have left IMG after one semester.

In addition to these players, Shaquell Moore entered residency as a 14-year-old, so we've added only six guys since U15s. These six additions break down as five players who were called up due to serious association with pro clubs (Gall, Vasquez, Luis Felipe, Moreno, and Lopez) and only one other (Amick).

I've seen both guys once. Dembele looked better to me. Roberts looks promising as well though.

The guy on the far left, who I believe is Jesus Vazquez, looks strangely like Fabian Johnson.

I know this is your thing, but wouldn't almost every domestic player at some point be called into our U14 and U15 camps since they happen a few times a year and some of these young player camps have 50 kids in them.
    Its almost 200 kids.

I know that I shouldn't click on Show Ignored Content, but every so often I do. No surprise to see you continuing to inflict your tiresome, willful ignorance on the forum.

And by willful ignorance, let's be clear. If you've read my posts with any attention at all, you know perfectly well that a great many of our top prospects and senior players weren't looked at on the national level as U14s or U15s. That includes last year's DA player of the year Jordan Morris, last year's #1 superdraft pick Andrew Farrell, last year's rookie of the year Dillon Powers, as well as national team standouts like Geoff Cameron, Matt Besler, and I'm sure many, many more.

But by all means, continue to ignore the facts and spout off.
