I just bought my U.S.A. v Trinidad and Tobago tickets for April 1 in Nashville, TN. Me, my girlfriend, and three of my friends are going and got tickets in the half-field section, rows E & F. They cost a pretty penny but I'm quite excited. Anyone else going to be there? Or do any of you even care about 'ol U.S.A.? This'll be my first U.S. match so I'm excited.

i'll be there, as will ivan IV.

i went to college in nashville, and still have plenty of pals down there, so when i was informed where this match would be, i requested the time off work straight away. i'm really looking forward to it.

as for caring for the ol' USA, yeah, i've been to quite a few of our internationals over the years. i was just at the mexico match on wednesday, in fact, and still have the cold to show for it. phookin' brill, it was ... again.

My first experience was the drawn against Argentina. It was amazing! seriously though if you really want the full experience get tickets with Sam's Army. Its so great how all the rival fans get along for the length of the game.

Already bought my $70 tickets in the lower seating, section 136 (135 is the exact center), and then seats 12, 13, and 14 on rows E and F, we thought that would be better than sitting all spread out along the row. I think those seats are good enough :)

I'm not in Nashville, so I wouldn't know. I'm about three hours away in NW Georgia.

    in a word, no.

we (the US) played morocco there in our 'send off' match prior to the last world cup, and the atmosphere couldn't have been lamer. honsetly, i'm shocked that they have actually scheduled another. i'd be willing to bet that it'll be piss poor again.

that said, i've got friends down there, and a place to stay - so i couldn't be happier. :D

I'd love to be there, as my fiancee went to school in Nashville, but with my wedding coming up at the end of April, it's a wee bit tough to swing the time right now.

And, yes, I'm a fan of the US, and have been to a number of games over the years. One of the first to be involved with the Yank Army (when it was known as the USDA), in fact. Those were the days... ;)

Surely the Honduras one would be the best game to pay out for, get Palacios to autograph something.

I saw the US vs Honduras at RFK in a qualifying match 9-1-2001. It was the best sports experience of my life. 50,000 fans at a match that started at 10:00am due to college football tv games. At least 30,000 of the fans were Honduran - they took over the upper deck. They were fantastic, and you could not hear yourself - it was as loud as a Nascar race at Bristol.

The Hondurans won 3-2, and quite frankly it should have been 7-2. Everytime I looked up they were flying down the wings past our slow defenders. I was shocked when they did not make the finals.

Ten days later the world changed...
