I'll wait and see how many USL people are on that task force before I have an opinion.

especially since 9 out of the 22 (the article says 26 but using the mlssocer.com schedule page i only find 22 regular season games on unimas) games featured Chivas that is even more impressive.

For a network with 51 stations that's pretty good.

    I wonder if there's a typo here... 29,000 instead of the 229,000.

Fwiw, the original released MLS tv schedule listed 25 Unimas and 1 Univision game.
    http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...l-tv-schedule-includes-87-matches-us-networks

Since we don't have the individual numbers like we have for every ESPN/ESPN2/NBC/NBCSN game, it is hard to know how they calculated the number.

Also, from the historical data we keep in the tv ratings thread, we have not yet been able to make any sense out of the 21% growth number quoted in article.

In 2011, this was the break down for the spanish language regular season games
    Galavision: 18 games: 72k
    Telefutura: 12 games: 233K
