but it isn't house tarly that sucks, just sam (ostensibly) ... randyll tarly current patriarch of house tarly is/was one of the most formidable fighters in westeros and is the proud owner of heartsbane a valyrian blade ... so, house tarly isn't all that shabby really.
Just weren't enough wily vets who cared intensely/passionately about the American game. I put my time in, even helped keep the USSF with the green for a while in the late 70's amd early 80's to help keep them up and running. Yeah, a few of us did a lot, but the generations after us are pushing it forward. I'm OK with that. I don't need to be apprecited.... I just need to see the game succeeding. Makes me very happy.
