Let's just say it doesn't help your chances to beat a ML team when half your back line gets injured during the game. :D

I somehow beat a team from 2.1 with two of my best players injured.

Which means I'm losing to a team from 5.318 next round.

Yeah, you beat me. I had 5 players missing for that game, missed a PK, and out shot you but all to no avail. Nonetheless, congrats. I figured your team would give me a run for my money considering its talent and I wasn't wrong. Good luck the rest of the way.

Yeah, I didn't deserve that...my keeper occasionally stands on his head and it happened tonight. Sorry

And that team name will inevitably be "Available Team 13".

I need some scouting help. I am trying to determine if a player of mine already had a year of bloom before I pulled him.

    http://trophymanager.com/showprofile.php?playerid=25010876

I'd be willing to donate pro days to anyone that scouts him. Here are the reports I have so far.

Ernest has been following L. Perez and thinks that he has star (19) potential. He is certain the player has not bloomed, yet. He has a strong feeling that L. Perez is a normal bloomer and is in the middle of his development. Ernest also noticed that L. Perez demonstrates normal professionalism.

Perez is a normal bloomer and is in the middle of his development. Ernest thinks that L. Perez has an ok understanding of the tactical aspects of the game and expects him to be able to improve this part of his game to some extent. Ernest also noticed that L. Perez seems to be a not particularly aggressive type.

Have 2 scouts on him for ya, Thedza :) Mine always have trouble agreeing, too, so I can't guarantee results, but they're doing their best.

See that one that says he is in the middle of his bloom scares me because that would indicate that he did have a year of bloom when I pulled him. So that is 6 that say he hasn't bloomed and 1 that says he is in the middle of his bloom. His TI is 32 so if he isn't in bloom what will his bloom TI be? Could I have another Mildmay on my hands?

Nah, I think he'll end up being pants. Not even worthy of division 8. Since we have a history together, I would be ok with taking him off your hands. It would compensate you for the signing and time wasted on this guy. Eh?

I have a few more people scouting him for me so we will see how things turn out. I already have a young OMC with a trexma rating of 61 and rising as he enters his last year of his bloom. I may sell this guy for a boatload of money and stack my team with young defenders.

    Kenny Spiezo (20 Dev/16 Yth)

2009-05-23 Kenny has been following L. Perez and thinks that he has star (19) potential. He thinks that L. Perez is starting to bloom and is in the middle of his development. Kenny thinks L. Perez may naturally develop a good technique. The young lad seems to have a somewhat weak physique with little room for improvement. Kenny also noticed that L. Perez demonstrates good professionalism.

    Curtis Welch (18 Dev/ 16 Yth)

2009-05-23 Curtis has been following L. Perez and thinks that he has unique (20) potential. He thinks that L. Perez is starting to bloom and is in the middle of his development. Also, I pulled my first guy that my YD says is a 19! (Lvl 7...)

Of course, that happens when 2 of my 3 scouts are out at Thedza's place... ;)

Man I just don't know with this guy. I am starting to think that he just started blooming as soon as I pulled him since only one report has said he is in the middle of his bloom.

Should develop into a nice player for you.

Apparently he's actually good. Scouts (2 other people also scouted him for me) have come back 19*, 20*, 20* :)

And the coach searches start again (stuck him with my 91% str, wing, att coach for now)...

Can't wait to see how he turns out.

Well, my 7-game league win streak is over, so I can post about it without jinxing now :D

It was a good run, took me from 15th to 2nd. One loss puts me back to 5th, though. It's really crowded in 3.9 for 2nd place!

Also, foo on AoG for beating me by 3 at home and dropping my fans when I was riiiiiiiight about to hit the 10,000 mark for the first time!

Also, here's a question: I can expand my YD later this week, but after the training update is run. If I wait until TM wednesday, will the potential players:

    • not age
    • age a month and lose the training
    • age a month and get the auto-training
    ?

If you have anyone sitting in your YD then they will age without getting any training. I would just pick them up if you are going to because they will still be the same rating with the higher YD.
