denmark are a decent team. usa were lucky enough to beat them to make the final tbh. it was close between those 2.
Denmark was in the Milk Cup final against Northern Ireland last year, right? They were also three minutes away from playing in the final this year.
It's just that they team Mexico sent was supposedly really good. I mean, Galvan was there, so was the GK, Alvarez, Torres, etc. The only ones missing were Coronado and Gaurch from what I gather.
fyi, Pachuca finished 2nd in a U-15 tournament in Manchester. Maybe some of those kids will be in the U-17 World Cup next year. http://www.manchesterunitedpremiercup.com/world-finals-2010/knockout
tigres u-19 won the Quick Zutphen Tournament http://www.bequicktoernooi.nl/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=12&Itemid=16
The team that represented the US in that tournament (Alta Loma Arsenal) is probably 80% Mexican. I've seen them play and they are pretty good. I wonder if the FMF has scouts in the US, they could definitely benefit from looking at players over here

Re: TriColor U-20 I think you listed their mom's maiden last name instead of their last name. For example, Kristian Nuno is Kristian Alvarez, Erick Franco is Erick Torres, and Marvin Polanco is Marvin Pinon. BTW, how have they done in their friendlies?
Re: TriColor U-20 They've won both. https://secure.techxpress.net/gopoly.com/images/uploads/pages/File/Soccer - Men/2010/exhib2.htm http://ucsbgauchos.cstv.com/sports/m-soccer/recaps/082710aaa.html
I believe a couple of these players have played and been called to the nads u-20 or u-17. They're scouting the lower divisions like crazy.
I've also heard that. They scour the lower divisions knowing that Mexican teams have been scouting in the US and hoping to find US citizens. Anyone with a US citizenship they will contact. Which has worked good for them because they don't have much of a system here.
does anybody have info on the tournament going on rite now sub20 in colombia torn alcaldia? today mex vs chile happened
Roster: Rodríguez Romero José Antonio Mañon Barron Víctor Omar Izazola Ramírez David Álvarez Nuño Kristian Omar Acosta Quintero Héctor Coronado Tafoya Abraham De Buen Juárez Diego Eduardo Gamez Piña Eduardo Manuel Mora Guzmán Jorge Armando Loera Romero Alexis Emanuel López Rubio Carlos Aurelio Piñón Polanco Marvin Eduardo Sansores Sánchez Miguel Ángel Ramos Alatorre Luis Manuel Rivera Vargas Edson Ulises Rodríguez Alanis Luis Alfonso Navarro Martín Uriel Ibañez Jiménez César Alberto Villalobos Gutiérrez Saúl Nungaray Arce Ernest(called into a few US camps but virtually no chance of making the qualifying/WC final roster) http://www.femexfut.org.mx/portalv2/aspx/WEB_DetalleNoticia.aspx?pnIDNtca=28991 futbolred usually has results out of Colombia pretty quickly so I'd check there(though none are up yet). http://www.futbolred.com/mundial-sub20
i guess that means there is now a llimit of not having more then a full mexican squad, for the u.s team. any how, Mañon Barron Víctor Omar is the guy from pachuca? and is Coronado the guy that was part of the champion team that one that tournment in southamerica? isnt that player named GUARCH avaiblabe for the u-20 or is he in the sub 23?
good news, mexico "killed" peru 3-0, peru had come from beaten either paraguy or uruguay, not sure. http://www.futbolred.com/mundial-su...uguay-igualo-con-chile-en-copa-sub-20/8166444 2goals from- victor manon from pachuca 2 1 goal from-villalobos from atlas. Mexico will play paraguay in friday, if they win they will play the final on sunday against whoever else gets most points.
The only Mexican-Americans in serious contention for a spot on the roster are Adrian Ruelas(Santos), Victor Garza, Emilio and Moises Orozco(Tigres), and Omar Salgado(MLS). Brian de la Fuente(Chivas USA) and Greg Garza(GD Estoril Praia) may also be of Mexican descent, but they hardly make up the whole US team and at most only 4 or 5 of these guys will actually make the team.
