If that is the case (these are legitimate eligible rejects) then this would speak volumes of our scouting abilities.

Or maybe not, after all it got to PKs, maybe just a bad day. Or like Phenom will say in the future I see, we have incredible depth, no B team 4 teams in.:p

They are eligible rejects. The 3rd division isn´t bad but the Mexico team was better. Still today they played better and gave it their all. I think the NT was overconfident after they beat them 4-0 the game before and they also seemed to panic.

    This is an U15 team.

Them losing to a side they beat 2 days ago probably means they got overconfident and panicked and had a bad game.

Doesn't necessarily mean the scouting is bad...they are kids.

Colombia shocks Spain in PKs. So both undefeated favorites go out on penalties.

3era division vs Colombia the final.

I had a hunch that they would lose. You knew the 3rd division team was going to come out way hungrier after just getting stomped-on by them the previous game. Thought talent would prevail, but hey, still all mexican talent.

honest question, not trying to correct you...

I did hear that Arellano's kid (Cabritito I guess) was playing, saw few highlights and he seems good, so not sure they just handed the spots, after all they did beat the "rejects" team earlier.
