When you actually book it, its only $440 round-trip (from Atlanta)

Has anyone gotten updates on purchasing tickets for the game? I'm thinking of flying into Kingston, spending a couple or three nights there, then heading to Port Antonio for some beach time.

Got an email from US soccer:

"We currently do not have any ticket information regarding the U.S. Men's National Team vs. Jamaica match in Jamaica in September. We hope to have some information available in early August. Please visit our website for the latest news and updates regarding the Men's National Team. We will post ticket information once it becomes available. "

That's a lot more optimistic than the emails they were sending out about Guatemala.

The Jamaica Football Federation web page says that tickets go on sale on 9/3.

Not the best news on tickets, but since I will be down there guess I'll hunt for a vendor on Sept 3rd. I'll arrange transport from Negril also once I get down there.

What ticket level will everyone be buying?

Found a previous article for another game stating tickets are available at: Petcom, Portmore: Jamaica Pegasus: All Captains Bakery outlets island wide: Western Sports, Twin Gates and Baywest Plaza: Texaco Service station, Stanton Terrace and Liguanea; Megamart, Montego Bay. Patrons are asked to get tickets early, as tickets will not be on sale at the National Stadium.

Taken from an American Outlaws email from today: "USA vs. Jamaica (9/1/12) Kingston, Jamaica
US vs. Jamaica in Kingston will be fantastic for those that got on our sold out Travel Package. Can't wait to fill the stadium in Kingston. Tickets for this game should be available for those that aren't on our package, but still heading to Jamaica, next week. Please reply to this email if you will need one, and not on our package."

My guess is that if you are a member and email the American Outlaws about tickets, you will not only be able to get them, but you will be able to be with the other US fans.

hoping that AO will make tickets available to non-members as well.

the recent trend of USSF not getting an allocation is disheartening to say the least.

Is this a recent trend? This is going to be my first away game and I've never tried to buy tickets to one before, but I wouldn't anticipate that for a usual away game there would be enough interest from American fans to warrant US Soccer picking up their allocation of tickets.

As for the non-member ticket thing, they haven't advertised the tickets publicly (yet).

Last cycle the us fed got a small number of tickets to away games. It's a bit annoying trying to manage it ourselves but oh we'll.
