Pedro Mendes has extended his contract! He joins Gary, Lua Lua and Matt Taylor as players who dedicated their careers to Pompey.

David Thompson is a decent player but he's injury prone.:(

HR is after Nugent. The Striker's Valued at 7 million. We're also in for Kanu who has also attracted the likes of Hamburg after being released by West Brom.

2m rated cameroon midfielder Achille Emana wants his transfer to Portsmouth sorted. Toulouse and Portsmouth are yet to reach a fee for the cameroon international's services.

I guess the Manuel Fernandes deal stalled. Emana will add steal to the midfield.

In other news, Harry is watching the performances of serbia and montenegra's giant striker Nicola Zigic.

David james is sealed. I hope he doesnt joke around- he can be really outstanding when he's serious.

Preston's Nugent is pretty good. He scored a brace against wolves. I hope Harry bags him.

    No Forlan, please.

Apparently we are after Manuel Fernandes again. It's gonna be interesting to see the formation next year.

Looks like Fernandes is in, Kanu is in, Redknapp has also made a bid for Sulley Muntari, a wide midfield player valued by Udinese at £7 million and had scouts watch Francesco Tavano, the Empoli striker, play against Parma in a friendly on Monday.

Like I said.... 'Arry is the king of last min. deals...

    Question -

What positions will Pompey look to improve in their squad in January/next Summer, and what players might they be?

With the present injuries it really shows we have no depth at the back we need cover at left back, right back and centre halfs.........of course if a 15-20 goal striker becomes available we will have them too.

I wasn't saying you had any, I was simply referring to the previous post.

If you could make out your best lineup, what would it be?

I have to say, I've been very impressed with Pompey this season and I just read that you're interested in Fridric Piquionne (sp) from St. Et in France. He is a GREAT talent and you'd do well to sign him. I hope he comes over for your sake!
