@ Respekt, That line-up you posted would make a great formation, but I have one question. How is Lulic ever effectively going to work on that right side? I mean, Pjanic is a true playmaker, he can pass, dribble past opponents, shoot the ball from range, provide assists with passes through the middle, briefly worded, I think he'd do well as a fake winger. Lulic's main attribute on the other hand is his speed and his ability to provide crosses, but if he is deployed as a fake winger, how will he take part of the game if he's taken out of his element?

Lulic is almost equally as good on the right wing as he is on the left. He played there a few times during his days at Young Boys and I remember he had a monster of a performance against Zenit in the Europa League when he started as a right winger a couple of years ago. He's already used to the position and I don't see why he wouldn't be able to operate in this system if he just knows his role and plays to his strengths. He wouldn't be taken out of his element but rather he would be playing on just another side of the pitch where he could get more shots and crosses in which are underrated about him in my opinion, as well as his speed at times if it doesn't work out of course. It's a win-win situation.

Would absolutely love this as a Chelsea fan, but at this point, maybe its better for him to be a starter at Lazio and get a full season under his belt.
Vitez, what are these news about Oscar joining Chelsea soon? Does this mean Hulk isn't coming then? If CFC are planning on getting both, it must mean the likes of Essien and Malouda are leaving.
Oscar seems to be coming soon yes, Hulk talk has cooled down but there is still a chance we get both. Malouda will have to get used to the bench, same with Essien. I actually wanted to ship both out of town.
Mata, Hazard, Oscar, those are all #10's. How will they all be accomodated in the lineup when the likes of Ramires, Torres, Hulk, and Lampard will all be there too?
Hazard will be utilized as a winger, Mata could also be pushed out on the wing if necessary, or deeper in the hole. Ramires is more of a CM, Torres is an ST, Hulk is a winger.
There's still McEachran, de Bruyne, Marin, and Romeu though. lol Chelsea could make 3 competitive lineups with all these signings, I don't think it would work out though because alot of these players demand regular playing time.
World-class squad competing on MANY fronts, you pretty much need to have a full out full roster. De Bruyne is going on loan I believe, McEachran as well possibly. Marin will come in off of the bench or play in the lesser competitions.
Looking forward to seeing how Chelsea do this season, that CL triumph could well be the start of a dynasty. Wouldn't be surprised to see you guys win it again next May.
I just noticed Eden Hazard is the most expensive player in Chelsea. 40 fucking million. 20 goals 22 assists last season for Lille.
Would not be surprised if he makes this move. Also I will go on record saying that Lulic will stay with Lazio. Man do I hope both of them pan out.
