Hope it happens. Love Maletic ever since he kissed the grb on the jersey when he played for BiH U17s and scored a goal. I see patriotism all over this kid.

Plus imagine a Maletic - Ibisevic pair in a few years for Stuttgart. :speechless:

    Translation for that link:

AMSTERDAM - VfB Stuttgart exhibited interests for Marko Maletic (18). The forward of the reserve team of FC Utrecht and Bosnia's U19 is training with Stuttgart's first team since thursday.

Maletic will know if he's good enough for a professional contract on sunday. Even though the left footed striker from Dutch-Bosnian origin has a contract till the summer of 2013, he has the option to leave the club without a transfer fee.

    ----

He's already training with the first team, nigguhs.

Najbolji strijelac Olmadinske premijer lige Bosne i Hercegovine za prošlu sezonu, sutra će otputovati u Zagreb, a u ponedjeljak će zvanično postati novi član Dinama. Vila će trenirati sa prvim timom Zagrepčana, a prvu godinu nastupat će za juniorski tim.

I mean of course. However I think the more of these become successful the better the country looks. Look at Brazil, France, Holland etc. these guys produce good players. Croatia is getting to that level and I see no reason why BiH cannot get to that level. The Balkans have produced stars though out the history of football.

Right now we aren't there but we can get there. The indication will be the percentage of successful players. The more players outside the country the better the whole country will be. I don't know if that makes sense.

    Little high.

That's true, but you forget that we never have the management to help this country move forward and make the positive decisions to help us qualify for major tournaments consistently. I live in hope that one day that will change but so far that's been the case and as good as our talents are, they still need a decent manager who's smart tactically and knows how to discipline them.

Well the way I look at it is that the more players leave this country to play outside and the larger chunk of them become successful; would be a short cut from improving conditions from within the borders. Brazil doesn't have a great football league, however the chunk of their players play overseas and this in turn makes the homegrown league better.

Too bad that our organization hardly show any support for our domestic league and talents so it will probably never really progress. It's almost the same with our national team. It's sickening to be honest.

    Lol,

If he really moves to Osasuna then he should be our LB for the qualifications.

I'm actually quite releaved, because now Lulic can play in his natural positon and we'll have a experienced LB for once.

If Susic was smart hed call up Kvesic and we'd have the following options

    Starting LB - Sasa Papac

    Backup LB - Josip Kvesic

Third LB (if necessary) - Senad Lulic

    @Ferhatovic,

You're forgetting that only smart coaches do that. Pape is by far the biggest retard we ever had as coach.

I mean, we only have 2 CB ATM: Jahic and Pandza with no back up CB's.

Any smart coach would drop Jahic out of the roster and call up Zuka, Coca and Kolasinac, because what is Pape's next move when for instance Pandza gets injured?

What a nice move for Papac.

Rangers < Osasuna .... SPL < La Liga

Hopefully Susic will find out about the move by the time qualifications start, maybe then he'll consider Papac for starting leftback.

You guys think that this is a great move?

Osasuna is an ok team in La Liga but they're full of average players and we've already seen Spahic endure a bad season in Spain so I can't see how Papac will do better since he has to deal with some of the best wingers in the world. Good test for sure but he could struggle in Spain because the quality is so high these days over there.

I prefer Kvesic over him anyways.

heh. I was just about to post something like that. I guess we'll see if it works out..I'd rather have Kvesic or Lulic take that LB position as they are much quicker and can keep up. The reason Papac can still play is because of his smarts so hopefully it'll work out for him.

Plus he's already 32 and will be 34 when the World Cup comes. We can't seriously be thinking of going to a World Cup with a 34 year old starting in a position where speed and stamina is very important and expect him to start for 3 games all in the space of 10 days?

Kvesic needs to be integrated into the team from now on. Papac is a nice backup but he should not be starter anymore.
