Stilic isn't good enough for the national team anyways, so it hardly matters.

Forget it. Cech is the man currently and I don't see him bowing to any goalie for quite some time. Even if he did, we have Courtois waiting in the wings, who is arguably one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe at the moment.

Turnbull is home grown and I don't expect him to leave anyways. In addition, why would Asmir be the second fiddle at any club? He needs playing time for the sake of the NT.

As I said... Rumors... At the same time the case could be made that Courtois isn't so good... Maybe the staff don't have too much confidence in him. Roberto is going to make a stamp on the club. As much as I like Cech it could happen that they sell him and bring in someone else at a cheaper price. As I said rumors.

    Zaminljiv ljetni prelazni rok

Top 20 slobodnih igrača do 30 godina: Tranquillo Barnetta, Eiji Kawashima, Royston Drenthe, Otman Bakkal, Junior Hoilett, Markus Rosenberg, Nicolás Lodeiro, Sebastian Boenisch, Ismaïl Aissati, Andreas Ottl, Salomon Kalou, Craig Gordon, Hugo Rodallega, Carlos Sánchez, Brad Guzan, Danny Guthrie, Simon Poulsen, Semir Štilić, José Bosingwa i Marcos Flores.

Yeah I get it, rumors. Doesn't make it any less ridiculous. I'm sorry but what? Sell Cech? Are you out of your mind? He was crucial in the CL run last season. Chelsea aren't exactly a selling club and you certainly don't sell a cornerstone of the team. Stupid.

So was Drogba and look at what happened to him. He probably had one more year in him. Now he's in China. Chelsea are not exactly the type of club that you can predict what they can do. It's true that Chelsea are not a selling club but they sure are a buying club after splurging 50 large for Torres.

What happened to him? You mean he's a 34 year old, past his prime striker? It was time for him to go, as much as I love Drogs. Cech is barely 30, in his prime as a goalkeeper. So what was your point again?

    Try again.

The fact that Drogba was just as valuable to their win as Chech. That's my point. No need to be a douchebag about it.

Nobody is being a douchebag, I'm just pointing out the flaws in your argument. Listen, I love Begovic, I think he's a terrific goalkeeper and I'm very glad he's Bosnian, but Cech is in his prime at 30, which is the prime age for a goalkeeper. He was instrumental in Chelsea's success and he will be for many years to come.

Now couple that with the fact that we have Courtois waiting in the wings, one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe and it leaves no room for Begovic. Selling Cech would be suicide for the club, both in the media, amongst the fans, and on the pitch. You cant replace his veteran presence or skill set for that matter.

When @Respekt finishes his little meltdown moment we can get back on topic, eh gents? Anyways, Vitez is right, Chelsea is stacked right now at the GK department, I would rather have Bego go somewhere where he'll play on a consistent basis. Stoke is a decent club, I dont see why he should leave.

Very true. He's still facing fantastic opposition and I'm sure he'll get plenty of playing time with Stoke, all good things for our NT.

I don't find Begovic playing for Stoke particularly bad.

Actually I'd rather he play for a weak team in a strong league - more shots, more shot-stopping experience.
