do you guys actually believe these rumours? sabatini has been very open about signings, he's already mentioned that we are close to signing someone of quality, and has also mentioned numerous times that defence and midfield are the most important areas to strengthen.
He'd play either in the treq or striker role for us more then likely. Which I think would be helpful because I don't think Pjanic and Lamela are developed enough as players for treq. And I sadly don't think Totti will be more then a super sub next season.
According to Vecernje Novosti (serbian newspaper) Sabatini is coming next week to Belgrade to make a deal with Filip Jankovic's parents. Buyout clause from Red Star is fixed at 3m euros.
Amen to that, brother. He would be an excellent midfield anchor and allow DDR to play in a role that doesn't make him so uninvolved offensively. I'm a big admirer of an old Dutch player called Willem von Hangem and Strootman really reminds me of him in style (although Strootman has a million miles to go before he reaches van Hangem's level). PSV also have quite a good Brazilian CB called Marcelo. I reckon he'd be a good purchase for us.

Few days ago I watched a video on youtube Cruijff vs van Hanegem. Well, he was a real class! He was preety decent worker in a midfield, just as Strootman is now. We really need this player. But only thing that bothers me is what Andreas19 says that Man. Utd is interested in him. Unfortunately, I don't know if we can compete with them. Marcelo is nice player and the good thing is that he is not too expensive
The word in Spain has it that Sabatini is very interested in Musacchio from Villarral, 21 year old Argentine center defender.. It's believed he is working up a deal somewhere in the neighborhood of 4-6 million Euros. Anybody know anything about this kid?
Watched him a few times. He certainly has potential, but I'm afraid he might turn out demoralized like Kjaer, after the bad season Villareal are having.
Bad season ---> lower price. If rumors about 4-6m are true, it's worth risk. But one experienced defender is also required.

We need experience and quality. To many young players is also leaving us exposed and lacking character. Milan have signed montolivo and their mind looks set on not playing him as they activate automatic money clause. Liverpool were willing to sell him to Milan for 6 million, so that is a very good deal for that money.
he's still younger than simplicio and perrotta, whom we regularly use in midfield and he's not THAT much older than gago and greco. i'd happily take aquilani back, even if he's injury prone. he'll be more motivated playing for us than any other team. if not, then he can at least be a good rotation option
it'll be nice to have both. we could like have a homegrown XI GK Rosi CB CB Crescenzi Bertolacci DDR Greco Aquilani Totti ST i know it's not the formation we play but heck, i'd go crazy if/when we beat Lazio with a team like that
