Still bitter that we spend close to 16m on Destro but couldn't afford 15m for Verratti..

    Imagine

De Rossi - Verratti - Florenzi

You don't know that for sure. And it doesn't make the situation right. Consider we spend 70% of our budget to strengthen an area that really didn't need strenghtening. It's incredibly sloppy work from our sporting director.

I am not giving up on Piris yet but if the choice came to sign a good quality player of experience then great. For me it's doesn't matter if he has no European experience, just as long as he has played in a good team for at good amount of time. Really want another centre back, felt sick finding out that champion defender Roncaglia signed on a free. Seriously while he was signed on a free we where grooming Brazilian youngsters ffs

Surprised Piris is getting more stick than Destro.Piris was always going to be a gamble. He is new to the league and he didn't cost much, unlike Destro.BTW not hating on Destro when I say that, I'm just pointing it out.

When a keeper or defender makes a mistake it normally leads to a goal, a striker misses a chance it often gets less scrutiny. At the end of the day they are both young and need patience.

Maybe Destro is getting a bit less because some people recall how vehemently that "worthless" "garbage" Osvaldo was derided at this time last year.

    lol.

PSG is still going to offer him a higher transfer and higher salary. Come on think about it.

PSG Also has the promise of winning the league THIS YEAR. Roma is an idea....

Well if you go around smacking people in the face and getting sent off for mouthing to referee's it's going to annoy people. But just seeing Destro these past 2 games I'll be sure as hell glad to see Ozzy back tomorrow that's for sure.

You'll all Crucify me, but maybe we sell DDR and in exchange buy Ogbonna and a proven player.

If Zeman is going to stick around the next 3 years... and if DDR wants to win trophies....

Then the best outcome is that DDR learns at 29 how to play Regista. not Too too likely. That, or Zeman adjusts his tactics.

DDR, the footballer for Roma, is not untouchable in my view. Discounting his special Roman status, I actually felt the smart thing to do was to sell him to City for 30-40 million. So no, I won't crucify you for that thought.

I prefer if this clueless Americans go before De Rossi. We arent winning titles, we arent competing I damn sure dont want to lose our roman identity either. We will be left with nothing.A nothing club.

The main reason I'd keep De Rossi is for leadership purposes for when Totti gets hurt and eventually retires. Otherwise we are going to be looking at Osvaldo and Burdisso to lead this team :cautious:

The Americans seem just like the frontmen that give the cash to our management. Baldini, Sabatini and Zeman should be the ones blamed for results on the field. Only thing we can criticize the owners for is that they aren't richer ;)

He's a very good young player, already though. And maybe we won't qualify, but there is NO chance we'll do worse than last year. Yes the last game was an very ugly performance, but we have shown already the good(note: Inter) and the bad. See if only Destro would've converted those one on one's chances he had against the keeper, in both Bologna and Sampdoria, we would've thought differently. I really do think we have the quality to aim for 3rd place.
