He's really great with the ball at his feet but he's having problems with zeman's off the ball tactics
The only problem I have with Pjanic is that he tends to disappear for long periods of time. But other then that he's definitely one of our brightest players, and Totti really talked him up when he first came to Roma which should say something. He's just some what playing out of position in Zeman's system right now.
it depends though. It's not a waste if someone more efficient is brought in/ someone more adapt to Zeman. Would it be a little silly with this transfer merry-go-round? Yeah, but it is all gonna depend what is on the table. example: Pjanic is sold for 25; Bring in let's just say FOR EXAMPLE Weiss and Jung. Okay you have solved a couple issues there. It all depends
Pjanic is completely capable in the formation and can be moved around alot. At some point Totti is going to go down this season and having Pjanic go into that spot would greatly help this team. Were not playing Zemans natural game and havent been all season were just playing the formation, the tempo isnt there. Pjanic has been more than capable and is starting to actually hit form. Weiss is only on a 1 year deal at Pescara. Piris is starting to adapt and the defense is starting to gel. We would not get 25m for him and would get nowhere near that amount in the January market.
Pjanic is capable in THIS formation but it's not ideal to Zeman's tactics he has been practicing for 40 years. Either way, I still want him at the club. I say "for example" and you still knitpick my choices. You've gotta read more thoroughly
But once again you are just being egotistical and insistent on your opinions and unwilling to listen to anyone else's point of view. Not that I am surprised
I am not insisting on anything besides you being closed-minded in your declarations which make no sense when you don't consider possibilities. You're just really awful at getting your point across or adding anything informative or productive to a conversation
I am putting the opposite viewpoint out there. I listened to you comment. You picked Pjanic as the one to sell not someone like Burdisso. If you picked him I would gladly agree he should be sold.
This IS the thread for dream scenarios...nothing wrong with posting what signings he wants or thinks would be ideal. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
its a forum and were not suppose to agree, thats why I keep coming back. Sebestian Corchia from Sochaux is who we should be looking into and he's in our price range.
Yea...but, there's no reason to keep repeating yourself until "people realize its a waste to get rid of him"...say it once and be done with it or state your reasoning why you feel the point is valid...don't try and change people's views.
People keep repeating that we should sell Pjanic because of some falsehood that he doesnt fit. So its the same thing.
At least they're basing it on some sort of merit, not just imposing their views on people until they agree with you. That defeats the purpose of a forum...There's a way of discussing topics and tone used to get across your information.
Sorry I will stop saying we shouldnt sell one of our most promising attackers who is on a cheap contract who is hitting his form.
Say it...but, don't think your views are better than anyone else. Having a debate about a topic is more fun then insisting a topic.
It's not that you are saying we shouldn't, you keep making the point that we will not be as if you are the General Manager. What I wanted to bring to attention is the possibilities that could/would happen if he does leave and how the team could react to it, reinvest, and change style for now and in the future. Look yesterday; I wrote that IF Pjanic were to leave, it would not be the end of the world because if the team after Zeman still plays 4-3-3 then you don't need Pjanic as you can have Lamela as a false 9 and it would probably work out great. If you play 4-1-2-1-2 which has become "outdated'" then there still is other possibilities. You're saying "Never" for a club which you can never say never.
