OK. Thanks for the update. I would hate to think he got away for $12 mill.

Something feels different about the De Rossi rumors this time around. I get the feeling more and more that he is gone in January. Would be a terrible loss, he is my favorite player.

met too. You almost forget he is still at Roma these days. His has been invisible on the pitch and then he gets a straight red in the derby. He has been dropped from Italy for the punch. I really think he is leaving in January. Honestly, it might be the best thing for his career at this point. Maybe be can go somewhere and win a few trophies. I will be really sad if he leaves. I think playing in Tottis shadow as the captain del futuro has weighed a lot on him the last few years. It would have been different if Tottis play fell off so much that he wasn't a starter and De Rossi could have been the captain all the time.

De Rossi is great on the wing midfield but not the way Zeman has his play for some reason.

It's not an identical role to how Prandelli has him play.

i thought in the genoa game where we came back to win 3-2 de rossi was fantastic, made a lot of forward runs and his passing and clever touches were coming off, but that's the only game i've watched where he seemed to fit into zeman's system. i wonder what happened, that genoa game was also the game after he and osvaldo were dropped to the bench and both scored for italy during the international break.

IMO it is all mental. I think he subliminally wants to go to a top team.

Whatever DDR wants, I wish him well. He has been a warrior for Rome.

I never grew up watching players from their youth to maturity before these 2:
It's weird for me to see DDR and Cassano in this way. It's sentimental to me.

I have a Cassano shirt hung up in my room and it makes me sad in a lot of different ways... But also happy for him that he got his chance in Nazionale and married

Watching DDR as a shaved head 18 year old killing the midfield position, thinking of how good he was, all the way to now.... It is hard to explain.

Filip Jankovic rumours are resurfacing again. They say that we will probably sign him once he turns 18. And Red Star has stopped playing him in the first team, so it makes sense.

I read an article where he says he would love to come to Italy and loves Rome and Milan.

WHy did they stop playing him? Markovic from Partizan looked special

I was just about to post on this, so is the kid any good? Where does he play?

Red Star, he is 17. CAM. I think Ragnaroz has a much better idea of him than I do though.

He was a bench player last year(at the age of 16) and got minutes from time to time, but, ever since the Roma rumours have started, they've removed him from the team. That's why I strongly suspect he is already sold.

As far as Markovic is concerned, I'd want him as a winger, but as a striker or a wing forward, no way. The kid just can't score to save his life.

He's an attacking mid? or has he been playing in another position?

I remember someone posted this video of him at 15 last time we were linked with him. He has a lovely strike, especially from long distance.

This Janković kid reminds me a lot on our Alen Halilović who plays for Dinamo. He is one of the biggest talents in Europe

The only difference is, Dinamo Zagreb knows how to cash in on their assets, and they know that by waiting they will get more money. While, on the other hand, Red Star's corrupt leadership just wanted to get the money asap.

Please can we stay away from Dinamo Zagreb. As a Spurs fan if I have to hear the name Mamic again I think I'm going to kill myself.

He is a despicable man, but you can't deny his ability to milk the cows he's got.

If only we could have Borini back. I'd gladly swap Pjanic.
