Pep enjoyed working with young barcelona players, doesn't mean bayern offers the same thing. We have very talented youngster in our starting 11 and bayern 2 squad, but not with the same identity awareness as barcelona, thats another issue. However, he would do very well with us.

 

Pep has an ego, just like every coach. We'll see how he sees himself in that context. Also, don't forget AC Milan said they want to sign him, while Bayern haven't declared anything yet.

 

Guardiola is great but not adapted for german football, expecially with us, his 4-3-3 is not 4 us and 4 our players, try to imagine Guardiola on our bench this season, how the fk would him play? Without a real striker, so to have Guardiola on our bench we'd need to catch all the Barça players to FC Bayern, naaaaaa, too hard to me........and too expensive lol

Lucio out at Juventus. Bound for Bayern???? I wouldn't mind having him as a backup CB to be perfectly honest.

In that case I don't see much benefit to adding him for the second half of the season. With Jerome out for 2 matches we really need help in the CL the most. If Dante picks up a yellow card we will have a CB pair of DvB and a midfielder. No one wants to see that.

 

Lucio had another great season in him but not at Bayern and Van Gaal saw that coming. Great decision indeed.

I still think it would be great to get an experienced 3rd choice defender in the winter transfer..

(Obviously when bads is 100% fit he'll be 4th choice)

We are going to regret not having an extra defender handy when we are missing 3 players due to cards/suspension in the CL campaign..

I always hated Lucio and always tought he was extremely overrated ... Every time I remember the Quarter Finals of the 04/05 CL I get pist ... Lucio single-handedly screw us over in both games against Chelsea ...

If we were to sign him now that he's even worse I'd stop watching Bayern games until he Leave ...
