Mbia asks the same questions we all ask even though we already know the answer. :)

Ok Heinze was a money issue. They probably didnt wanna pay a guy that old that much money anymore. Lucho another money issue. Once he was out of Dechamps plans he was a gonner since he made too much money to sit on the bench. Ben Arfa is a prima donna and a punk and he didnt want to be there so that was an easy one to get rid off. Niang, I have no idea why he wanted to leave and go play in Turkey but surely a salary raise to make him the highest paid player on the team would have kept him.

there was nothing left for naing after winning the title with OM.... it was the highest he could go and for the club. i feel if he had stayed his motivation would have dropped.. after a historic win.. nothing else was left

L'OM needs to get Benjamin Corgnet from Dijon and get a new left back like Martin Olsson with a young striker like Ryan Mendes da Graça

He's your club president and probably the sexiest president in all of Ligue 1 so congratulations on that.:)

    Possible DD successors

    http://news.maxifoot.fr/info-157419_120430/football.php

Eric Gerets is an idiot. He put Djibril Cisse on the bench which caused him to leave.
John Fernandez, boring and no excitement but he's probably what they are looking for.
Claude Puel, no way, not a good idea.
    Fabrizio Ravenelli, not enough experience.

Damn, I hope they can come up with someone better than this sorry bunch.

if their case wasn't so utterly FUBAR they would have a chance of getting rené girard who would be a custom fit, but as it is he would just laugh at them.

i think fernandez would be a good choice for them. he knows the house better than anyone else except anigo, and he's more intelligent.

100 m budget for the upcoming season, down 30% from last year. Ouch.

    http://www.footmarseille.com/news-18049/labrune-explique-la-baisse-de-budget.html

Lyon have already passed them. PSG have blown right past them, and soon Lille will pass them at thos rate. So much for the so called "biggest club in France." A club like this should have a very rich owner who is able to meet its true ambitions. I cant think of a club this big that has an owner with less money.

MLD isn't a football fanatic like most club owners. As I have said, many times that MLD will sell the club after stade velodrome renovations when the clubs value greatly increases. That is the only reasonable reason she hasn't sold OM already.

Rumors about getting some Serbian guy from Juventus on loan. I dont believe it because every time they are linked with a Serie A player it never comes to fruition.
