This is true. He hasn't been capped for the senior NT yet, has he?

Not too much of a reach for Butron, Fernandez, Forsyth and Penny to get all the call ups in the next several years and for Israel to offer him a spot.

maybe Manco or Sanchez, they seem the most likely, or Ballon though he hasn't had international exposure..... I hope Ballon. If he is talking older players then i would suspect Torres or Lobaton.

I dont get why Chemo even knows about this?

He's not an agent or anything, and isn't currently associated with any Club. He's probably blowing smoke.

Yeah, Chemo definitely gets around in the international soccer scene. Everyone always speaks well of him. He's even friends with freakin' Valdano.

Man, it's great being a pituco. Solano was a better player that played in a better league for longer and there's no way he has the same kind of contacts. Farfan even worse.

I bet Pizarro will be well-connected, though.

Well then I guess its true, however the press seems kind of stupid, why in the hell would it be Aguirre being asked about by River? Chemo has nothing to do with Aguirre, he only called him up once or twice and he barely played and did not do well. Hell it would be more likely for them to ask about A. Sanchez or J. Sanchez, because even though they did not play much he felt he need to call them up and had them under his supervision. So.... I doubt they asked about J. Sanchez, because while he was called up, he only played twice under Chemo. It can't be Loba either, except i'm not sure if he was under Chemo when he was at Cristal? Then there are the extranjeros, obviously not them...... Its not Manco because hes only ever been called up twice by Chemo. For the same reason probably not Guizasola, though it is possible. Ramos is a possibility because he has been playing well and played in friendlies and 2 or 3 eliminatorias matches for Chemo. It could also be Torres, because he has gotten no injuries in la U and finally got continuity under Chemo in the seleccion, plus he brought him into the light in Cristal in the first place and has warranted attention with his play in the Libertadores. Then there is Ballon, who was not necessarily a canidate for the sele yet, at least not to the press and so he surprised everyone by calling him up. He played seven matches in the Eliminatorias and friendlies under Chemo at a pretty good level, and has continued his ascension into this year, flourishing under Mano Ruiz (who is a very good defensive coach and so hopefully he is teaching Ballon some good stuff).

So..... looking at it carefully it is most likely Torres or Ballon, or maybe J. Sanchez or Ramos but that isn't as likely. Guizasola was called only twice by Chemo. Then Ramirez, though with his level of play down I doubt it. Cannot think of anyone else.
