In the final he had that header he should have put away... and the breakaway before Brazil scored where he could have iced the match but he failed to put the ball on frame.... he didn't step up like Oribe & the others.
Fabian may not have wowed in the Olympics like he did in Toulon but that was due more to a run of bad luck. Hit the post twice.
http://www.mediotiempo.com/futbol/m...vergara-tambien-rechazo-al-udinese-por-fabian seeing this shit just pisses me off first Bayern now Udinese, Vergara is a problem what makes him think he can just dictate a grown mans career, its like he's using the team for his personal gain reguardless is they have dreams or not, Vergara discustes me
Meh dat offer supposedly came 18 moths ago, but who ever wrote that article is just assuming shit, we know from another piece of shit that goes by the name Harry Redknapp that Udinese made an offer to Tottenham at about that same time. Gio was the Mexican player they wanted. Also the bayern rumor was BS too. Dat article is full of shit.
Man, ill never understand this enamor people on bsmx have for Udinese. "first bayern, now udinese"?.....what? There is absolutely no parallel in disappointment that could ever exist there in terms of squad importance and passing on said squads. Its been just TWO acceptable seasons....jesus christ. That team aspires to absolutely nothing but maybe a domestic cup. They were 14th place before they picked up, fluctuated from 7th to 14th before that for who knows how many seasons. I mean even currently they're the current table equivalent of real sociedad in La Liga , and stoke in the EPL...if that offers some perspective. Bayern if true is a disappointment......Udinese can kindly kick rocks.
I agree with you that Udinese is overvalued here but it's hardly a bad destination... I mean, it's a lot better than Aquino's almighty Villareal of the second division.
True. Man i just hope these guys learned something from the Gio and Vela sagas and wait for the right call so they dont catch a brick.
Chicharito scored on France & Argentina in the World Cup before playing a single minute for Man U... Mexico will play well even if our top domestic players stay in Mexico & start week in, week out... worst case scenario now is we lose a bunch of NT caliber players to crap situations in Europe after the summer and they go Barrera & Juarez on us. Now the younger guys who will not make the Senior NT fro Brazil (Pulido, Tecatito etc.,)... those are the guys that should be experimenting in Europe soon.
whne it comes to selling players vergara has been almost on point with each one, he has sold to Arsenal, Man Utd, and Chelsea. That is one thing i will give him props for he will definitely try to get the most bang for the buck selling to europe.
Im not following a lot of MX league lately, but are the coaches giving a shot to young Mexican forwards or are they still preferring to play the token south american troncos? Reason I ask is there is no reason for a young talented mexican forward to stay in Liga MX if he is not getting consistent opportunities.
Off the top of my head i know Cubo got playing time Bueno from Pachuca and Candido started I believe.....thats all I can remember
Yes. I've seen him scared to face bigger defender too. I think it was the game against Senegal, he would give the ball to a team mate right away instead of challenging the defenders.
His pressuring against much bigger players forced them to cough up the ball & directly led to Oribe's goal against Japan, and the first against Brazil.
Not everyone has Hector Herrera caliber huevotes... but the little dude is sneaky, stealth & plucky making up for his lack of size.
