    Do it anyway!

I think we won't know who's coming to America until after the WC.....to be honest, I don't think we are going to pick up any new people.

Could Cuauhtemoc still be useful on this team? Given the speed with which we've been playing recently, I'm not so sure. Would love to have him for one last season. I just know he's itchin to retire with his native yellow.

John Sutcliffe just informed on ESPN that you guys just signed Vicent Sanchez, that G player from Toluca a few years ago, currently playing in the german league.

    Nice signing.

    Not official yet.

"No dudo que en las próximas horas la noticia de esta contratación se haga de manera oficial, pero por lo pronto una fuente me lo ha confirmado, que el interés del América es firmar cuanto antes a Vicente Sánchez."

    about the signing

Not strictly a striker. This guy isn't even on the Uruguay squad. Another overrated South American player in the twilight of his career looking to make a quick buck? Or (hopefully) another Zamorano/Piojo?

tbqh I'd rather we take our chances with Kike and Torito rather than another signing. oh well.

Let's hope his run with America is more like Piojo or Zamorano, he certainly has to have a chip on his shoulder after his stay in Europe.

I have serious doubts Sanchez will be in his toluca era form....huge doubts.

This dude hasnt played shit in the last 2.5 years

clueless signing if you ask me. we need some younger players.

-Ochoa should try and leave asap.

    Nava should be our starter.

    my line-up

    -----------Navarrete-----------
    Rojas-Cervantes-Mosquera-Corral
    --------Rosinei--Pardo----------
    Reyna----Montenegro----Esqueda
    -------------Vuoso-------------

Vicente Sanchez sucks. No wonder Toluca kept him for so long.

Vicente Sanchez does NOT suck. Hes coming from a team where he didnt get a lot of playing time, so the first few jornadas he might look out of rhythm. Once he gets past that hes going to be an important player for America. Hes 30, so not as old as some of the other guys that have been brought in. Hes definitely better than Vuoso.

    I sure hope so.

I can't pass judgment since we haven't seen him play......although I'd rather take him over Vuoso at this moment.

I'm expecting Rolfi and Rosinei to be the heart and soul of the team this upcoming season.

The Russians are probably the only ones willing to pay what America wants for him.
