I remember he wanted to win a tourney before leaving to Europe

I remember he was leading goalscorer in Libtertadores 2007 and 2008 and was part of the historic Maracanazo.

I remember he made the game against the perras in 2008 a little less embarrassing.

I remember he scored 4 against Veracruz in 2006.

I remember his golazo against Cruz Azul last tourney

I also remember every crucial miss, every berrinche, every fucked up pass. I do have a memory good sir. If Cabanas is only going to start drama instead of work hard and play, then I say go. Thanks for the memories.

I don't know....I'm iffy about Nery, I seriously doubt America would even attempt to get him....he could rot in chivas for all I give a fu*k.

I wouldn't either. America (at least in this decade) has had a history of getting strikers when they are going down hill, Luis Hernandez, Antonio De Nigris (with all due respect) he may not have been over the hill, but the few chances he got he didn't do too much, Marquez Lugo, Richard Nunez etc.

Cacho has slightly regained some form, however he is not the Cacho he was in 2007.

I would only consider getting a striker if Cabanas is on his way out.

I rather see Nery with America than Chivas
El Matador was going back and forth with America and LA Galaxy and still managed to win in '02 and De Nigris only played like 5 games

He did that when he was at Tigres not with us, and besides in 2002 he left in mid season to join the National Team in it preparation for the world cup.

hmm....I kind of like it and I kind of don't. Memo will be out due to WC preparation, so that leaves us with Navarrette and that other young keeper we have. Who knows if Navarrette will be good to go....and in the event we have Navarrette or the younger keepr injured then we are assed out.

This is a real stupid move by America and this is a great example of why Pacto de Caballeros sucks and needs to be taken out! America is blocking the transfer of Navia to Veracruz because they want money in return due to the Pacto so it looks like Navia wont be joining after all and Temo is furios!! But hey if i was Veracruz they i would do the same and block Layun from joining America since he was from Veracruz

How much you want to bet that it is not America blocking it?

    Exactly..

But in this case it is beign used to help another team(Necaxa)..

Blocking Navia and Gaitan's incorporation to Veracruz helps out Necaxa in the long run..

Aqui no es que el America haya bloqueado la tranferencia, aqui esta Televisa protegiendo sus intereses en Necaxa.
