Again, what did you expect? If I remember correctly, you were against Aabar. Well, here you go, then, you wanted Italian owners(well, they're American/Italian, but it's not very different).
I'm actually now hearing that contrary to previous reports Dodo may in fact have a Portuguese passport.
Yeah, Henchag was firmly planted with the team Aabar camp. The side with brains and common sense. Anyhow today is the first of July which means the transfer market has officially opened.
Sorry then, somehow I thought it was you, dunno why. I'm sure there were people against Aabar, though.
I hope Roma can close in on Ogbonna soon. Once this Euro is over it's going to become all the more complicated. Thiago Silva is demanding more money from Galliani now that they turned down PSG, so that deal might spring back to life. If Silva goes to PSG then I see Galliani moving in on Ogbonna.
Can anyone clarify the situation with Bertolacci and Florenzi? Are they now with us and are they here to stay or will we be looking to move them on. I'd much rather have these two as squad players than Brighi, Pizarro Greco, Perrotta, Simplicio etc.
This is great new for US soccer...... American Exports: AS Roma set to bring Bradley into fold http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2012/07/01/american-exports-roma-set-bring-bradley-fold
I like the acquisition of Bradley, he can play multiple positions in Zeman's midfield. If you think this is a publicity stunt you are crazy, like 1% of the population know anything about him.
For some reason I can only picture him and Osvaldo getting suspended for doing bong hits before games...
Dude, that's what I do. But I play in an adult rec league lmao. Some nice sativa and I can run forever and play clever... however I unwittingly inhaled some 100% indica before my match 2 weeks ago and was a step slow all match. Of course tonight I played sober, scored 2 goals, and absolutely owned my side of the pitch. Onyewu is the only player I've ever been glad to see lose his spot on the US national team due to injury. Guy doesn't know the meaning of touch or pass. I honestly would probably not watch Roma if he was our CB. GIVE ME OGBONNA!
I think the hardest work of defending Bradley has already been done here. I watched Chievo matches when they'd pop up in my ESPN streams mainly to see how he performed, and frankly, he's flourished wonderfully under Mimmo Di Carlo compared to his time in Germany, Holland, and that spell at Aston Villa. IMO, going to Chievo was one of the smartest things he could do, because taking a role at a lower-tier club meant lots of play time. Given Gago's performances last season + Real Madrid's wage demands versus a slightly younger player who's got first team Serie A experience, will run his ass off and probably will get a better read on the game than Gago, this is a smart piece of business by Sabatini. It won't sell jerseys in the States (aside from the obvious Kappa problem), nor will it bring legions of new Roma fans by the boatloads, but from a selfish standpoint, playing alongside the likes of DDR and Totti can only help step up his game for the US Men's Team looking ahead to 2014.
