I think Feraud can fit in beautifully at Emelec. Not so much in Liga, not with Madrid reportedly heading there. I think Bauza will go with a back line of three-Araujo, Morante, Calderon. Madrid and Echeverria would play on the flanks. That leaves no room for Feraud. Uchuari on the other hand would fit in nicely with you guys. He could play behind the sole striker and ahead of the two fives (Hidalgo and ???). The only question with him is if he's mentally ready to play at a big club, which only time will tell. Barcelona would also not be a good fit for Feraud if in fact Paredes is heading there. Unless they're bringing in Paredes as a RB, which is possible but unlikely.

Paredes (if he goes to Barcelona) will play as a carrillero.

Paredes- Perlaza, Campos, Erazo, -R. Oyola....honestly that is fierce. And Roosevelt I think will eventually take over Walter Ayovi's position in the NT if he can manage to reach the level he was playing before his injury. The problem now is that he'll have competition with Giovanny Nazareno who will be back from his 1 yr and a half suspension. IMO, Roosevelt is 10 times better than Nazareno is at defending and attacking. Nazareno can do a pretty good job attacking but he's shakey on the defense. In the NT, he was screwing up big time when Rueda/Vizuete started to give him opportunities. Nazareno still has room for improvement but I think the time for that improvement was supposed to be NOW (within this year a half that he hasn't played). JC Paredes was just as bad as Nazareno was a year and half ago and he's developed into an awesome right back. Nazareno could have been on the same path, but now he's behind. I hope for the good of the NT that Roosevelt Oyola takes charge of that starting spot. I don't know if Walter Ayovi will be ready to play a World Cup at a 100% a year and a half from now. We need to start thinking in his replacement. Someone fast and reliable that can bring a perfect balance to our defense ---> Oyola.

You're right about Feraud though. Uchuari is the perfect fit for Liga. I don't doubt his abilities at all and I think he's ready for that next step. I think Uchuari is actually one of the few players we have that are developing quickly. I doubt he'll be in Ecuador much longer than next season. There's few players I can name that were as consistent as he was thoughout an entire campeonato at 17 yrs old.

I'm actually wondering what ever happened to Junior Sornoza. I rarely see him play in Independiente anymore. That kid was beast. Just as good as Uchuari. They complemented each other REALLY well in the NT. A team like mine (Liga) or El nacional need to wake up. As a Liguista, I'm a bit concerned about how other teams make moves and acquisitions quickly while we're just there like sitting ducks waiting for something to happen. It's frustrating to see that we're not quick to identify talent and bet our money on a good ecuadorian player and instead bring in paquetes like freakin Luna and Vitti that don't do sh*t. And Nahuelpan is inconsistent too. Smh, hopefully it all ends this season and we can start fresh for 2013. Long way to go...

Barcelona and us (Liga de Quito) are battling it out right now for Carlos Feraud. I think if Feraud is smart, he'll chose us as his best option. It's hard as a b*tch to start anywhere in Barcelona's attacking positions right now. Especially where Feraud plays. Barcelona has Matamoros, MJ Quinonez, Jose Ayovi, and let's not even talk about Arroyo and Diaz who aren't moving an inch away from that starting position. I'm surprised Barcelona is actually interested in Feraud with the amount of players they already have. Although Barcelona may make an important bid, Feraud should consider us as his priority if he wants to play and be a part of a team that will grant him lots of opportunities -and possibly launch him to the NT. I hope we get him and hope he makes a smart decision.

    Morante - Check
Ramiro Ibarra (renato ibarra's younger brother who plays the same position and is supposedly better than his brother)- Check
Jose Madrid- unofficially a done deal
Carlos Feraud, 1 good center mid defensive mid, 1 more young center back, and 1 good left winger/carrilero (Leonel Ramirez would be awesome). - WISH LIST

According to a few unofficial BSC websites Velazco, Paredez are a done deal, rumors about Alex Colon coming on 2013 habe been heard as well, I like that its a replacement for Diaz, MJQ and Matamoros and I'm sure he'll come cheap, specially if Tecnico Universitario descends, tbh, I do not think that BSC need to add many players, I just hope that we can keep what we have, I mean Banguera, Perlaza, Campos, Erazo, Roosevelt, Nazareno, Paredez, Ibarra, Saucedo, Gruezo, Diaz, MJQ, Matamorros, Arango, Gordo Lucho, Bryan de La Torre, Jose Ayovi, Pony Ladinez, Pony Oyola, Arroyo (6 more months on that loan) we have a hell of a squad, the only player whom I heard of leaving might be Mina, other than that a few minor additions here and there and we can be a contender again.
I agree with B9 and that Feraud should go to Liga, BSC does not need him, But then again Liga is making a habit of letting talented young players get lost in the bench watching, Ulisses, Reasco, Urrutia in the starting 11

If it's between Liga and BSC, Feraud should choose Liga. He wouldn't get regular minutes if he joins Barcelona. If Bauza goes with al line of four defenders, which I think he's gone with at times this season, Madrid would play at RB and Feraud would play in the midfield. Then again he could be seduced at the prospects of playing for a team that will participate in Libertadores.

Diaz isn't leaving though, is he? I'm pretty sure Barcelona will not want him leaving and will pay the price for him to stay. And I'm also sure Diaz wants to play a Libertadores with a team that has really great chances to access the round of 16 and up in that tournament. MJ Quinonez and Matamoros I suppose are going to stay...or am i wrong? doubt they want to leave too. I heard Pedro Velasco isn't going anywhere according to D.Quito's president. I don't think he would consider leaving either if he wants playing time. I mean JC Paredes going to Barcelona alone causes Bryan de La Torre to lose his spot and playing time and to be honest he's done a really good job as a carrilero in Barcelona. If I were Barcelona, I wouldn't sign Paredes. It's a bit unneccessary when you have a player like Bryan De La Torre who is young and considered as an investment. With Paredes, Barcelona is gonna have to spend. They're overdoing it. Especially with players like Revoredo and Miguel Ibarra behind Bryan De La Torre. I think Paredes should prioritize going to Europe if he has the chance to. Nazareno and Roosevelt Oyola are going to battle it out for that left side and behind them is Cristian Cruz who IMO is talented as well- I wouldn't mind someone like that coming to Liga. That kid should also find a way out of Barcelona cuz he isn't getting a single minute next season.

So given all these circumstances, I think Feraud, Colon, and Velasco (if there's any truth to that rumor) would be dumb to make a move to Barcelona.

Colon has also been linked to Deportivo Quito. I agree that Paredes should choose Europe if in fact he has offers.

yeah that's true. I think if Saritama leaves, Colon is their first option. But regardless i think D.Quito will maintain interest in him. I like Colon, but there's better players to chose from IMO.

I don't really know where he would fit in, unless they're bringing him in as a RB. Since he's been here, Quinteros has proffered going with Wilson Morante, a more defensive oriented player, as opposed to C. Quinones, who offers more on offense, so idk I suppose it's possible.

I've always liked Narvaez, he has decent technique for a centre back and he's fast. He has to tone down his play and he makes silly mistakes at times, but he has a lot of upside and he's still very young.

Narvaez just needs opportunities to play. That's all. Everything else will fall into place. That kid is a gem IMO. If given the opportunities, he'll be valuable to not only his club team but also to the NT. Hopefully he doesn't make the wrong move and gets lost.

In other news, Barcelona seems to have made a deal with JC Paredes (this isn't new), Pedro Velasco (dumb move if this is true), and Freddy Olivo. Velasco is a fool if he made that move...someone needs to tell this kid he'll be warming up the bench so much next year he'll be able to fry an egg on it. What's the point in leaving a team where you START and going to a team that is becoming overpopulated? http://www.ecuagol.com/ecuagol/index.php?n=30799

Easily the dumbest move he can make. No way in hell he get's much playing time. BSC has considerable depth at RB- Revoredo, De La Torre, Ibarra, even Saucedo play's there once in a while. Add Paredes to the mix and he will not see much playing time as a starter (or sub). He won't play because of the juvenil rule either, Gruezo is their guy.
He'll only see playing time as a sub (maybe) and/or when they want to rest their main guys the game before they're scheduled to play a Libertadores game. The need to rotate guys might be a mute point too, the FEF is proposing a condensed schedule for the following season because of NT, Libertadores match days, ect.

that's his fault. we didn't have an overpopulated left wing last season. he just didn't take advantage of his opportunities and sucked. he didn't fit anywhere we'd place him.

Penilla joined BSC, and they're saying Velasco might be next. Again, bad move on his part, but oh well.

Liga has been linked to Garces, as well as Saritama. I watched Garces play in the games he played against Emelec and Barcelona towards the end of the season. The kid has talent, so good move on Liga's part. A couple weeks back, there were reports that he had offers from Athletico Paranaense.

Velasco to BSC is pretty much a done deal. What an idiot. Have fun riding bench. It upsets me that players often choose money over everything else. Had he stayed in Deportivo Quito, he would have gotten plenty of minutes. I doubt he'll play much with them and unfortunately for him, he will not get the continuity he needs so he can play the U20 World Cup in Turkey (if we classify).

Tough loss for Deportivo Quito. They're losing Paredes, Saritama, and Velasco. That's three starters. Velasco was a decent player they could have built around, along with Vega and Eduar Preciado.

Dude, How the hell did Penilla and Velasco make the move to Barcelona in a matter of seconds? They were confirmed by D.Quito's President for next season just a few days ago. And the crazy thing is that these players are actually saying that it's a done deal. In JC Paredes case (who signed today), we already knew he was making the move there. D.Quito has been completely dismantled. I know Barcelona has historically been known as a club with money, but seriously how the hell did they just dismantled D.Quito like that? Our league is gonna become so uneven now. Velasco, De La Torre, and JC Paredes all covering one position. I would have never imagined that. what in God's name was Velasco thinking. Same with Penilla who could have easily broken into the starting team next season now that D.Quito is renewing their squad. lol Velasco is gonna cry year long with De La Torre unless JC Paredes has some serious injury cuz it's guaranteed that he'll start over the other two. I heard Saritama and even Castillo is linked with Barcelona as well. (The Noboa's claimed they are interested). Emelec and Liga have a strong interest, although I hope to God he doesn't come to Liga.

We need Feraud and Franciso Rojas, along with either Carlos Garces or Luis Santana who is also on the list. All those players are strongly linked with Liga. Koob Hurtado is basically a done deal according to Esteban Paz because Diego Calderon will be leaving to the MLS. That one defender Roman (from Palmeiras) is supposedly about to be deal done too. I cross my fingers hoping he's a good player. And I hope Ezequiel Luna leaves. The bad news is that Enrique Vera is actually gonna stay. That's ridiculous, he's freakin old now!! Thank him for his services, and let him go! I hope we start hearing some good names to replace Nahuelpan and im crossing my fingers that Bieler stays. Jose madrid is also a done deal, I'm almost positive about it. Liga just doesn't want to make it public. We're on the right path, just need to correct a few things.

Barcelona just signed John Jaramillo. I think Liga is stupid for just letting him go. Esteban Paz again! at least loan the kid out, don't just let him go to a team that is a direct rival in the campeonato.

Jaramillo will have a hard time getting minutes next season until the day Banguera is sold to a foreign team (if it ever happens). Barcelona is attempting to prepare for the future but they should loan some of these guys out for the next year. Sucks for some of these kids that are talented but really stupid for digging themselves in a deeper hole. These moves could potentially ruin careers. Development stunt to its fullest for some of these guys.

Their President went as far as guaranteeing their prsence on the squad for next season. This reminds me of the whole Frickson Erazo debacle last year. Erazo claimed several times he wasn't joining BSC. The exact opposite happened.

Another bad decision by a young kid. Does he actually think he'll be able pry minutes away from Banguera. lol Good luck.

Apparently there is a good chance Montaño will be going on loan next season. Good move on his part. Injuries destroyed his season, but if healthy, this kid can play. All he needs is continuity. I doubt Barcelona will loan him out to Liga or Emelec, seeing as they figure to contend next season. A team that can be a perfect fit for him is Independiente. They could use a young, dynamic striker with a physical presence in the box. I could also see him going to El Nacional or Deportivo Quito.

I put money that Deportivo Quito gets him. Emelec won't because they're fine up front. El Nacional won't if Barcelona asks the big bucks. And they'd look like idiots because they let Montano go a few years back when he left to Gent. LOL I will laugh if El Nacional even asks for him, that'd be straight stupid. D.Quito and especially Independiente would be the best fit for Edson Montano. Cuenca wouldn't be a bad look either. Byron Cano looks like he wants to leave the team and Walter Chala isn't even getting the minutes he needs. Montano needs to play, he's a goleador!

Feraud and Madrid are basically in Liga. They're just holding it back from reaching the media officially. Franciso Rojas and Carlos Garces are in the works, and recently Luis Santana and Alex Colon are the other two names. I'd be glad to get 3 of these guys. 4 seems a bit overboard. I'd go with Rojas and Garces for sure. And either Santana who is younger or Colon who was the most effective of his team and one of the most effective in his position in the campeonato, but who's 25 yrs old.

I talked to someone i know today who's close to Deller (Independiente's president) and supposedly Independiente doesn't plan on selling a single player to us for the 2013 season. So we can count them out. That's probably why Samaniego didn't come to Liga last season.

Deportivo Quito in all likelihood is his destination because of the Chriboga connection. It's not a bad fit either. He'll get the chance to play, that being said, if he's looking to go to a team that figures to contend next season, he mght want to look elsewhere. I personally hope he goes to Independiente.
