Cole coming back home on a free transfer as Liverpool are paying to offload him. Great signing imo

A good signing in my book, even at the age of 31 he can still produce the goods, well done big Sam!!!

Seems a good deal, if the reports are true. Free transfer and 30k a week. I hope that he still has something to give. :)

Not thrilled. JC was Hammers until 2003, after that it was all Chelsea, through and through. Skillful yep, but tactically naive and not-so-bright. OK, with 30k a week a decent buy but where would You play him? Competing with Vaz Te perhaps but nowhere else. Jarvis is better delivering crosses, Nolan is by far better in general etc.. Only if he gets better and more disciplinary than he currently is, he might make it. We also have to bear in mind he didn´t actually shine in France: the latter half of the season he was only 1+1.

Chamakh in: could be a very good buy. Talented, maybe just too nice and haven´t yet fulfilled his potential. Maybe Sam is the right man for maturing him?

Jack Sullivan seems to be just like his father. A complete moron.

I like the Chamakh deal. But it will be a waster if he just sits and watches Cole. We have had Cole a while now and at best he is a Championship level player. Good effort with not much to show but clumsy failures for the most part. Need to play him until Carroll is back or even ahead of.

I think I'd play him in the front of midfield chipping crosses in towards a big guy like Collins

Olsson would be a good signing, but the Brazilian signing on loan doesnt make any sense. What do you do with four strikers now when we only play one up top.

Well, Chamakh is certainly another striker who cannot score.

Just because he did not do the biz for Arsenal, does not mean he will not do it for us.Different style of play may suit him.We are in the middle of a goal drought.

What a loonie window so far. Already closed deals: our own homecoming dervish, waiter from Morocco, wonderboy from Ireland and Brasilian samba man. What next? This: iceman from Sweden probably, David&Victoria of course both to complement with a Toon celebrity Bart Simpson, a nice pair of yanks etc.

And then, with expectations on Gold re-signing the great South African gastronome Benni McDonald´s THIS:
    Transfer Center @ polkadotcom today:

Howard Webb is sold from Manchester United to West Ham United with unclosed but certainly not nominal fee. Not yet confirmed by the clubs but seems the contract will be signed as soon as the personal terms have been agreed between the new parent club and the player himself.

8-year-old John Smith, a close personal friend of Jack Sullivan, the son of the co-owner of West Ham United have already used his dad´s Twitter account by stating his delight: "This deal will mean a world to my best pals club. Finally they´ll be able to also turn things around during the final minutes of the matches like Manchester United have been customs to. Maybe already at the Old Trafford FA Cup replay against his current employer".
And guys, You may follow overall window feelings from inside the club:

Two American internationals training with the hammers, Zusi and Agudelo.
Not sure if they are available to sign, but Zusi is a very good player and Agudelo is only 20 with very good potential and international experience.

If we keep signing guys, we're going to need to sell someone youd think

...and seems our world tour just goes on and on. Now the radar is in the African jungle: a defender from Cameroon, with the name Bong (!). Fans will really have a laugh shouting his name, just like with Samassi Abou.

    This isn´t boring.
