This guy is looking for a new club this summer. He would shred MLS with Wondo..... http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1...klas-bendtner-people-think-psychopath?cc=5901 He'd be a great DP for our new stadium. He's still in his prime and he has something to prove.
You are funny. Haha 106 league game appearances. 43 goals. 24 national team goals. Dude just needs a change of scenery. Danes Ekeland and Mollar lead their teams to MLS championships.
Danish strikers are use to physical defenders. They adapt well to MLS. When this guy is on form, he's near unstoppable. He wants to start and prove a point. If he came here, he could live in SF and enjoy the urban lifestyle, but still fly under the radar in the media. I think he's over the "celebrity lifestyle".
One catch is that he wants to stay on the Danish national team radar. I would guess that he'd think a move to MLS would not help him in that regard.
Uhh no. He is shit, not because he lacks ability, but because he is so full of himself, yet rarely backs it up. Also did I mention he's not right in the head? People put up with his shit if he were great on the field, ala. Suarez. But he hasn't been for a long while.
I would remind him that Molnar and Ekeland both got caps while playing in MLS. Less games may actually have him in better shape physically for the national team.
jeff's crazy idea of the day: Stu Holden is hurt again and his Bolton contract expires this summer I think It's very doubtful they will sign him again. I would love to see Watson reach out to Stu and offer him an assistant coaching position this summer. Tell Stu to take his time on the rehab (I suspect a lot of his latest injuries were because he rushed his return to make the WC team). If Stu feels good by next spring, sign him to a player contract. He would be great to have in the new stadium and even if he could get to only 75% of his former ability, he'd be an asset. The guy has a great attitude and would be an excellent influence on the team, either as a coach or player
oh god there is no more dignity or pleasure I would love more. I imagine Houston would be on that like a hobo on a ham sammich, injuries be damned. He could have been a key cog for the national team before Evans and De Jong did him dirty
Beat Kinnear to the pitch. I think he just got married and will be thinking about his future family. He would fit here so well. Even if he just ended up as fitness coach, he'd be incredibly valuable.
Hollingshead not close to getting any minutes in FCD... he also doesn't fit Pareja's system... we should trade for him: http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/co...d-for-charitable-efforts-but-wait-is-over.ece
Hey guys, UK press says ManU may exit up to 11 players this Summer. Shoot, I'd take a shot at Rio Ferdinand, for example. Any takers?
Mostly a right-sided player. Getting long in the tooth. A bit injury prone. No thanks. Better off getting Rivero.
Ditching Opara was a smart move, definitely not worth the salary. It's unfortunate to see him injured again, though. You get the feeling some guys are never able to progress only because they can never stay on the field.
Apparently Danny Mwanga and Edson Buddle got into a fight in the rapids locker room after the SJ-Col game on Saturday. I wonder if he would be available to trade for... especially with Lenny and now possibly Gordon injured. https://twitter.com/Rapids_News/status/457682442313166848
Why can't Doyle work with other teams in the league and get loanees? I read that the league passed a rule last year that will allow teams to have interleague loans. I think Tony Cascio from the Crapids to the Dynamo was the first loan player. I would think it would be an avenue that would help the Quakes, especially at this point.
Yeah Id jump on snagging Mwanga. And yeah, why not look at loans? looking at the table, we are clearly that desperate.
If we could free Mwanga from the Butthole, he would likely be quite grateful at this point. Also, could we loan out Atilla The Chump...for anything?
